i love how we are still going to act as if Wade is some rogue coach playing by his own rules. Bruce Pearl did the same stuff, and is coaching again with great success at Auburn. Duke paid Zion, with proof in sworn testimony.

But yet here we are with yet another crusade against Wade and an easy power 5 non traditional basketball power to exploit. so the toothless ncaa can act like they can do anything to curb the toxic underbelly of AAU basketball

Everybody does it, sucks to get investigated and caught. Sad thing is he'll probably lose this job but land on his feet at another program and have them in the sweet 16 in 3 years...

Keep the man and fight through it.

Sounds like the NCAA is trying to drag the football program into these allegations in order to pressure us into firing Wade and rolling over

He will probably get a show cause and won’t be hired for a period of time, in the NCAA at least.

My guess is that Wade will end up in the NBA.

This was addressed In the article I posted last night. Likely going to an independent review panel. Recommended by NCAA.

Only real recruiting issues Bruce has had involved having a bbq and lying about it. The stuff with Chuck Person didn’t involve recruiting but funneling cash to current players to sign with certain agents/handlers. Essentially paying them to leave. Nonetheless, AU will probably get some additional punishment despite pretty harsh self imposed punishment.

LSU needs to start distancing itself from Wade because this is not going to go away like originally hoped.

If they had evidence that could be used, it would not be sent to the Independent Review Panel. They are going this route because they lack evidence that can be used under the NCAA bylaws. This is a punt, so the NCAA can blame the Independent Review Panel when no serious allegations are made.

The football stuff is such an absolute minuscule issue. OBJ acted like a retard and handed out money to players. What are the kids to do in the heat of the moment. Say no Odell, i can take this cash because im a righteous student athlete.

The JPF ordeal, and correct me if im wrong, was he paid and gave a bullshite job to a player almost 15 years ago?

It’s simply a threat to the powers that be at LSU, basically “turn over on Wade and well let all this other small stuff go”

LSU should call that bluff. They have nothing

If LSU was a blueboood then you’re probably right. Unfortunately, schools like AU and LSU will be the sacrificial goats.

Can we truly have an honest discussion on here about how subjective and double standard the entire NCAA is? And why any university listens or follows their rules?

They are literally one of the most incompetent feckless organizations on the planet.
