Eric Walker will see a physician with the Texas Rangers near his Arlington home Thursday. LSU should know his status Friday.

This is what LJ tweeted about conversation with CPM:

Silent on whether the results of the MRI are known at this point.

He's getting TJ. All of the signs are there.

ETA: Downvote all you want, but forearm soreness, shutdown, seeking second opinion from MLB specialist... that leads to TJ more times than not.

Reading between the lines a bit, it sounds like they gave a fairly good idea what his prognosis is, but prefer to get a second opinion. That's the smart thing to do, honestly. Hoping for the best for the young man.

Unfortunately , we as fans can only hope for the best and only wish and hope he comes back. This is just really bad luck.

There's a witty statement in there somewhere.

Back on track, that doc is great. Did all the sports injury diagnosing and referrals when I played. Guy has a great track record.

If walker gets TJ, I wish him a speedy recovery, and hope he comes back throwing 95

not all of these require surgery, the same guy that recommends surgery is also the one than not recommend it.
