You should be concerned if that’s the case. Meaning the corners that must play against a very good UCF team are not as good as a high schooler.

We are talking about a once every five or ten years talent, not your typical starter at a 2A high school.

He was good enough to start for nearly every college after his junior year. He's that good. It doesn't mean that our remaining corners are high school quality.

What does that say about the corners playing in the bowl game?

It says:

#1 is sitting out.
#2 is out with injury.
#3 is suspended.
#4 just lost his dad this week.
#5 is a Stanford transfer that never did much there.
#6 is running wildcat on the offense.

Read as:

Not as good as the #1 rated 17 year old football player on earth.

All the talk reminds me of Tolliver when we signed him. I hope this kid can bring it at the college level.

Agree. I immediately thought of your first five arguments. Certainly not ready to hand anyone the 2019 position the position at this time.

What does that say about the coach?

Considering our top 3 or 4 weren’t practicing that’s not surprising.

That he sucks. But hey, that's for Kansas to deal with now.

Edit for the downvotes:

Were you asking about Orgeron? It says he got royally screwed by the #1 corner in the nation last year, signed the #1 corner in the country this year, and just got the commitment of the #1 corner in the country next year.

Yeah but Stingley may be the best HS in the country.

Stingley is absolutely NOT the best high school in the country. LA has never had the best HS in the country...ever.

He was on the scout team so those picks he caught were on the first team offense

Why can't our fanbase turn off "Miserable frick" for like 5 minutes?

Not surprising that he’s better than Kary V and Alexander. Isn’t he supposedly a day one starter. That would mean he’s better lol

After watching him so many times I really think he is the best Cornerback prospect ever. Patrick Peterson with better fundamentals like footwork which is incredible for his age. I’m comparing him to all the greats when they were recruits. Not just LSU either.

I didn’t see Deion Sanders or some of the older guys but Stingley is on another planet compared to everyone else before him at this age. Just my opinion.

Here is what he JOKED about:

Joked that Lil Sting being available for the Fiesta Bowl would’ve been “a great Christmas gift right there.”

“Looked like the best guy we had.”

tRant translated that to mean he WAS the best.
This kid doesn’t know the scheme, playbook, doesn’t have the strength for big receivers yet, etc. YET tRant is “man he is the best...
Pump the MF brakes.

Ricks and Stingley on the corners will be sick.
