People...We have no shot this weekend.

I am as die hard an LSU fan as any fan that visits this board, and more than most. I've put 2 daughters through LSU and have paid a pretty penny to do so. My money, my heart, and my heritage are purple and gold. I've pulled for the Tigers my entire life, and I'm not about to stop now. But I'm also realistic.
The problem is, our defense cannot get off the field on third down. If it were just one game against Ole Miss, I might be able to convince myself that we can get enough stops to get a W. But our "D" is almost as bad as TAMU.
They take bad angles, they are undisciplined in the trenches, they miss too many tackles, and take too many chances in an effort to make the "BIG PLAY". When the game is on the line, LSU's defense will not be able to stop Bama from scoring.
I hope I am wrong. I would love to wake up Sunday morning and see this topic bumped. This is some crow I would gladly eat. I just don't see it happening.

You are correct in that our defense is the worst we have fielded since the Curley Hallman era. That being said, I think we can outscore Bama, maybe. If we score over 40, we will be in this in the 4th quarter. The Aggies had a shot by scoring 40+, we just have to hang some points on em and anything can happen!

Alright, so tell me where we have an advantage. Besides wide receiver.
We match up really poorly. Our D line is under-sized. Our d-backs are undisciplined and have shown a propencity to blow coverages over the top.
I have plenty of effing sack. Hell I watched Archer, and Dinardo, and the dual defense coordinators. And Jordan Jefferson, and I watched us lose to ole Miss after beating Florida in 1997. Yeah I've sacked up a ton.
