It isn't just the 3 L's. It's who the L's were against and how they took place. A 30 pt. L too an average Miss. St. A L to a Troy team that we were much more talented than and a another L to Bama. The State stomping and the L to a SBC team are two of the worst efforts by LSU football in like 15 yrs.
The season was ok, but since when has ok been good enough or anything to praise for LSU football. Isnt that pretty much what has being going on here since 2012? Amusing that ok is now acceptable when it hasn't been for many for yrs.

We don't want to lose Aranda, but the fact is this:
Steele looked bad here and looks very good at Auburn because we didn't recruit well at LB. We usually had one good LB and some meh guys. We also did poorly with DL and depth.
Aranda left Wisky and they have the #1 defense in CFB for 2017. They have a system and build accordingly. We now recruit proportionally. Last season we loaded up at the LB spot. This season we went after DL. We still get stud DBs, but the blueprint is depth at all spots and more emphasis on the front 7. We are going to start playing big boy football again and that's how you win in the SEC.
