They hunt in every corner of the state. They missed the LA Duck Hunting funeral a few years back and refuse to admit that it is dead.

They believe it’s living on an island with Tupac and Elvis, hoping it might come back some day!
I would prefer Russell Shepard over Ray Rice or Randy Moss!
You need to scale back on the consumption of retard juice!
Hello terd, you are more than welcome to meet me at Sonic, if you so wish.
Thank you Sidney.

m2pro, it would appear that retard juice is also available in all areas inhabited by Alabama fans. Stay off the sauce.
Truly am an LSU fan. Actually graded from the school

A big gulp full of retard juice

On behalf of all somewhat sane LSU graduates/fans, I offer up my most genuine apology for the frantic mob of loony tunes that has emerged from Tiger Country over the last few days. The only explanation for all of this is that all of the Circle K convenience stores in Louisiana (as well as some fringe areas of East Texas and Western Mississippi) have gone to selling nothing but retard juice from their fountain drink machines.

Have no fear, in just a little over a week, we will be spanked like a misbehaving little child, and begrudgingly resume our rightful seat on the shrimp boat.

Thanks. Have a great day.
Duck hunting in Louisiana for the average person is dead. Let it rest peacefully.
I’m not too sure I would typically listen to GH22 because I think he’s a kid that spends too much time on the internet and I also don’t think he has hunted too terribly much around the lower 48, but I’d go with TN here. Typically further west is best in regards to most hunting exploits.
Most of these clowns wouldn’t know a quality double barrel shotgun if you slapped them in the face with one.

What kind of a bird hunter is he? A 20 gauge will suffice for pretty much any upland bird you can chase in North America. A 28 gauge is a play thing that I would feel naked carrying for pheasant or prairie grouse where you are shooting a larger bird in a typically very windy landscape.

If you think he would like an over/under, I would look at a slightly used 20 gauge browning citori or a Winchester 101. You can find a nice gun in the price range you outlined. Please don’t buy one of these modern day Turk or ruski guns.

Dawson’s Doubles typically has some nice 101’s: LINK
In order to find Shang Gr La, you need to identify the activities you most want to engage in. I’ve been lucky to hunt most of the midwestern states west of the MS River and a few of the further western states. They all have something great to offer.

What is more important, hunting or fishing?
What type of hunting? Big game, waterfowl, upland birds, etc?
What type of fishing? Cold water, warm water, salt?
How to you handle cold weather and remote living?

But if I was to pick an all a rounder, my selection would be somewhere in southern Idaho or SW Montana.
Lol you are bragging about it now. If you weren't a blow hard you wouldn't have posted any of that stuff giving yourself a pat on the back.

If you are as heavy a hitter as you say you are, I will thank you for the small game emphasis areas. Had an excellent woodock hunt on one just the other day.
Never said you didn't have knowledge or experience. Just that you are a blow hard.
Word. Dude is by far the "mouth of the south" on this board. Dude probably assisted with the screen writing for "National Treasure" with how he tries to keep the majority of his posts cryptic and edgy.
How good is the hunting though? If somebody has F U money then I can understand paying somewhat of a premium for location, but the hunting better be pretty damned good for what you pay per acre in LA.

I've hunted a place close to 20 min across the river from BR that may challenge your claim (at least if you like to shoot mallards in the trees).
Why is there so much fighting and large amounts of money being spent to hunt some trash woods with little bitty deer? If huge sums are being spent to own/lease/take care of a place, surely these high rollers know that the same amount of money goes much further in states that actually have good hunting?

Any challengers to take on "the mouth of the south?"

Does the WMA have to be in the state of Louisiana?
They don't need to inact a lottery, they need to get rid of the 4 wheeler trails that make getting away from easy access points nearly impossible. Go ahead and ban mud motors on public property while you are at if.

You want to cutdown on crowds? Make it a little harder for people to access every square inch of a piece of ground. For example, bag checks have shown that the LAA at Atchafalaya Delta WMA consistently have a higher bird per hunter effort than the rest of the WMA, yet people still bitch about the LAA.

Want to cut down on the number of folks at Bouef? Close down the ATV trails that go to every lake along the river, like V Lake that was mentioned in this thread.

Go pull up a map of most public land in LA, excluding some places like Kisatchie and Maurepas the Wax etc, you can't hardly go 1 mile in any direction without hitting a road or ATV trail. Quite comical

I fully expected this to be a Pecker thread where he started out talking about Gwen and then transitioned to how attractive he thinks Blake Shelton is
