You are missing my point.... Miles had some screw ups while here but with Ricky around to come to his rescue you had to tread lightly or get called every name in the book....

O really hasn't earned anything yet... all I said was it was a good year everything considered.....

A lot of the criticisms of Miles were pretty ridiculous, surely you can admit that. The same people that are defending O blasted Miles, do you not find that odd?

Yes it is odd... I have been very critical of O.. losing to Troy is unacceptable. Losing by 39 to MSU is unacceptable...

Then we've come right back to this post

Still trying to figure out your angle in all of these O threads. You yourself have said you don't believe O is the guy to get us to the playoff, yet you freak THE frick OUT when anyone provides anything about O that isn't glowing praise. So what's your agenda here?

That's a flat out lie. Sure there may be some, but I supported and defended miles longer than most, up until the Wisconsin game. I also don't defend O. I support the direction of program. That said, they have a bad year and fire his arse. I don't think that he can't be successful simply because he failed at OM. I give the guy a fair chance, but his leash is short.

I've read thru this thread since it was started and even submitted a few posts early on in it, but page 24 is my absolute favorite of them all. Comedy gold littered throughout that entire page.

Here's to all that participated.

stop trying to ruin and derail every thread im in because you have an unhealthy obsession with me.
its amazing how you didn't want miles to fail when you spent the last 5 years doing nothing but shitting on miles with your football ignorant opinions( like when you blasted miles for calling plays from the sideline when in fact every team calls plays from the sideline because the ncaa didnt allow helmet radios. when you were proven wrong you then tried to change it to getting audibles from the sideline and i again showed you that even the GREAT KIFFIN called audibles from the sideline) yet i want O to fail because i simply post his actual accomplishments as a head coach

Again you are wrong.... what I said about the sidelines is that when Miles was the coach the whole offense would get to the LOS and then turn to the sidelines waiting for further instructions... it had nothing to do with radios in helmets... there was mass confusion with the way Miles ran his offense.... and then the offense would end up burning a timeout and get back to the LOS AFTER Athens timeout and all look to the sideline again to see what to do...

And after Miles was gone and O took over that looking to the sideline went away..... and the offense ran more smoothly...

Same thoughts. I like the guy but he is not the one to take us to the top. We had several months to zero in on top prospects and swung and missed and ended up hiring O.

Nothing he showed me this season changes that assessment. Disarray on the staff. Meddling where he has no expertise (offense). On pace for a lower ranked recruiting class. Really, this should have been a 1 loss season looking back at how weak the competition was. Maybe 2 (UA and AU).

Next year will be much, much tougher. We will be breaking in new running backs and a new QB. Odds are that next year's record will be worse, especially with trips to UF, TA&M and AU and a visit from UA. We have Miami at a neutral site and play UGA as well. 9-3 this year, with key starters on offense departing is not a recipe for success next year. I cannot tell you how much I hope I am wrong.

yeah its called looking for audibles.
when i told you that you said Bama doesnt do that. i then posted a link and posted a direct qoute from Kiffin saying how he calls audibles from the sideline too.
just stop while youre infinitely behind

you dont even realize that youre contradicting yourself.

you've repeatedly said our offense was so simple bu yet it was so complex their was mass confusion.

quote:

then the offense would end up burning a timeout.

the fact that youre bitching about something EVERY SINGLE FOOTBALL teamn program, franchise goes through just further proves my point of bias.
quote:

LOS AFTER Athens timeout and all look to the sideline again to see what to do...

yeah IT'S CALLED "AN AUDIBLE" its something your lord and savior Saban does.

this just proves our point of you bitching about bullshite for miles.

where was this bitching against UF last year when the offense fricks up comimg out of a timeout AND LOSES THE GAME. you didnt put that on O.

they still looked to the sidelines after cam and miles were fired.you dont know what youre talking about.they didnt give Etling full audible power.
you've reprepeatedly said POINTS MATTER THE MOST RIGHT?

2005,2006,2007,2008,2010,2011,2012,2013,2015 ALL HAVE A HIGHER POINTS PER GAME THAN 2017

They still looked to the sideline for audibles the difference was the whole team didnt do it and they didnt do it as much but they still did. here is etling looking to the sidleine for an audible.

he then audibles up and down the line.
