I’m still not sold on him. Not even close.

We beat a bad BYU team and a very average Syracuse team and Chattanooga OOC. We also LOST TO TROY.

In conference the only teams we beat that didn’t get a new head coach was Auburn and Ole Miss and they are in such poor shape their only real option was to give the gig to the interim coach.

Bottom line is that this was a very down year in the SEC and LSU still managed to be just average. I don’t see how people thin next year, with a harder schedule and likely a much stronger SEC, will be any better.

1-4 against SEC teams that finished the season ranked since taking over last year.

We comin!!

We actually have a strategy, play to our opponents weaknesses and make in game adjustments. We are not predictable and the season does not fall apart after losing to Bama. This is a much more modern feeling team.

Oh, so you’re just one of the guys that hated Miles and convinced yourself the most successful decade in LSU history was some bumbling disaster.

Carry on

Still hate it...as long as Aranda is in town we’ll be fine, it’s what happens after that concerns me.

Recruiting isn’t what I expected. Hell look at the RB, people are booooooooooming over a 3 Star DT with a meh offer list.

“He beat a lot of bad teams, beat one decent team and had the worst loss to miss.st. and lost to Troy, hasn't exactly killed it on the recruiting trail this season either.“

Auburn, just decent? This is the college football and the SEC, any team can win on any given day including Miss St. Troy did end up winning 11 games I think and he is doing OK on the recruiting trial plus it’s not over yet. I think all he has to do is get a better QB and rest of the pieces of puzzle will fall into place. ??

I think the fact that there are people actually admitting that they can't wait to bump threads in 3 years to see who was right should tell us that it really doesn't matter what happens, he will never have the full support of the fans. Some folks just want to be right even if it means seeing LSU fail. It's an interesting mentality

Ye cats! That's 62 losses distributed among 9 teams! At least LSU got the schedule it wanted.

i disagree. if he wins the west in the next 2 years the only ones not supporting him wont be actual lsu fans. IMO anyway.

We are 9-3 with one of those losses being to troy which everyone knows we are a better team and that shouldn't have happened. He righted the ship and got the players to buy in regardless of the adversity this season. 9-3 is a respectable record considering what we had to deal with ln the lines of scrimmage and having a qb like etling that is simply not very good. People need to get behind O and this program. We have some momentum now and I'm excited to see what we do in the future. This season is reason for optimism for sure.

Why don’t you let us in on what exactly moved a true LSU fan such as yourself to register at that time? Anything in particular?

Well, as a long time reader of the board I decided to join the discussion. Thanks for asking.

I didn't realize that only the "true LSU fans" were the ones who've posted here for 5 plus years

I can tell you've not actually read many of my posts. I'm not sold on Orgeron either and he wasn't my choice. I don't, however, see the point in hoping he fails

I wish we could see how many new registrations there were between September and December of 2016, compared to the same period in other years.

What would you call the people hoping he fails so they can be right?

True LSU fans?
