Well if Orgeron isn't at fault for certain losses, certainly Miles was not at fault for every loss he incurred in the past 5 years or so, so where was the lee-way granted for him?
Were you in these threads sticking up for him like you are for Orgeron?

Because that wasn't O's fault, nor would it have been miles. Those were HUGE player mistakes otherwise that is a double digit win
using this logic no loss is ever on the coach.
coaches arent out there losing one on one battles that ruin plays.
i was giving an exsmple of the logic HE WAS USING.
my god try to keep up.

You’ve done it in the past...are you really saying you’ve never made a post stating the players weren’t executing?

ive never put a miles loss on a player and removed blamed from Miles. never once. its the coaches job to get the players to execute.
we disagree on here but ive never just made shite up that youve said or made up a stance and attributed it to you.

I was wanting a different hire, thought LSU (TAF & AD) got lazy, cheap, and hired the lowest bid coach.
But, I have been a supporter of Coach O. Not necessarily a Cheeri-O, though.
I can only hope he works out to be a great hire in the end. If so, there will be a lot crow being served in the club level on Saturdays.

Without this point of view, this entire forum is worthless.

I’ve never said it wasn’t Orgeron fault for losing to Troy. I have said injuries and youth as well as terrible officiating at the end of the half didn’t help. I will never excuse that loss. Just because I see reasons why we lost doesn’t mean I excuse it.
I am not defending O’s hire or season I am defending giving the guy a chance to succeed since he was hired. He wasn’t who I wanted as coach but I don’t make those decisions and I certainly am not going to sit here and melt that he is our coach a year later.
As for Miles I never liked his unwillingness to adapt. His insistence on running into the teeth of defenses that were strong up front. Not opening up the offense. Not getting good qb play. Clock management. Penalties, especially delay of games after timeouts. He would still be head coach if he took advantage of the resources LSU allowed. He didn’t want to adapt and have an offense that would destroy inferior teams and one that wouldn’t be easy to defend against teams with similar talent. Saban adapted...why couldn’t Les?

Well I don’t search posters histories. It was wrong for me to assume you did. I know you’ve seen those posts and I’m sure many of the ones who have posted that to protect Miles aren’t doing it to protect Orgeron.

I find he’s exactly what I expected based on his Interim years. He beats the bad teams loses to good ones. His hiring of staff has been underwhelming (i don’t given him credit for keeping Aranda and Raymond they were hired by Miles)
Canada so so on offense behind the scenes issues are troubling
Joseph is a joke, way under qualified
Meatball was risky have we ever promoted a GA before? Has been doing well at recruiting.
Robinson who knows needs to kill it at recruiting.
We will see going forward but so far looks like 9-3
