common at any game.
Did you see the Texas Baylor game. THe place did not even have half capacity when there was still 6 minutes left in a 16 point lead.

plus you can watch the game on the concourse.
Just trying to play devil's advocate, because I think they should stay as well

guys...are we really gonna complain about this the rest of our lives b/c we have nothing better to say or do?

It happens everywhere and it will always happen. GET OVER IT or be like me and just get used to it. I stay till the end always, but if they wanna leave let em. Chances are they will miss a great comeback one of these days.

But we are all so worried about how our fan base looks all the time, we sometimes focus more on what the fans are doing than the players...

Remember why we're at the game people. Worry about yourself and your enjoyment of the game. If you feel like screaming to help pump up the team then great, if not, no reason to piss and moan about others who aren't after EVERY LSU SPORTING EVENT.

that said....

I'm a lot more concerned about all the people at (and caring about) the meaningless mid-week baseball game, while the SEC champions were playing an important game in March.

that was so gay, especially after he announced that he would like everyone to stay for just a few mins after the game!

The fan base should be banned from going to any tourney games this post season

With 34 seconds left in the game, you could stick a fork in LSU- they were DONE. I am certainly not for anyone leaving the game early. However, the game was over. We didn't deserve to win that game even if we had gotten the lead after that. We got it taken to us last night by a younger but certainly improving team.

No doubt it had to be very awkward for everyone hanging an SEC Championship banner after a loss like that. I can't imagine what Coach Johnson was going through having to do that- to be positive after a really tough loss like that.

Bottom line, our "fanbase" is going to do what they want, and I am tired of bitching and ranting about our "fans" leaving early to "beat the traffic". I know what I do, and that's stay the entire game. All I care about is what I do and what my family does. If there is no one else in the stadium or arena, myself and my family with be there at the end to support LSU, good or bad.

Game is over. People leave. Happens at every venue in every sport. Get over it.

I have some more things that LSU fans do to add to that list:

1. sometimes we fail to come to a complete stop at a stop sign
2. a lot of us fail to use our turn signal
3. most of the time, we take longer than the time alloted us for lunch during the day
4. we leave work a few minutes early on a not so busy day to catch the window of traffic
5. most of us probably don't floss everyday

We're such terrible people!

I was pissed at the refs. I didn't want to stay until the buzzer sounded so I could watch Walkabout Ogilvy celebrate.

How is that fair to the team or the fans that actually do stay?

I can't relate to these people, but I still fail to see how this effects your enjoyment of the game.
