I’m just glad the offense is lights out. Trust Aranda will figure it out, history proves that out. If it was offensive issue, I wouldn’t t have much faith

Texas only had 7 points at the half. D got gassed, not an excuse but a reality. Ehlinger is a beast, no shame in that. We won’t see another QB like him or a player like #6 until November

Great win, enjoy it

At their place. In a hostile environment.

No, I watched the game last night and the D did in fact suck. No way to spin it, got manhandled but hopefully they learn from it and get better.

Must be for non-conference opponents?

Auburn last year, Alabama 2011, etc

Defense will be fine. Too many future pros.

Yes. They are gonna be fine. They were gassed in the second half.

We have a lot to accomplish this year and the season is just beginning...BUT, it’s not out of the realm of possibility that LSU and Texas could play again this year !!!!!

And they will end up with 3 plus losses.

What do the facts say? Anyone see a trend from Aranda’s first season to now?

everything you said i knew prior to heading into the game but our fanbase is so damn delusional they really thought we were going to beat them soundly they still will chirp their mouths prior to every game

Man eff off. Fans are fans, why do you even give a crap what they think?. You think you’re a better fan / person because you had more realistic expectations? Congrats

It’s football, try to enjoy other people’s happiness, it’s ok to be an overconfident fan.

So are we supposed to just suck on defense when we play any offense with a pulse?

They didn’t suck in the first half. If not for a busted play, they shut UT out in the first half. And that includes back-to-back goal line stands.

The LSU offense went 3 and out to open the 2nd half and then Ehlinger engineered that ridiculous 19-play drive that kept the defense on the field for 8 minutes. That gassed them and they weren’t the same.

In addition, Burrow kept answering with quick strike drives. They couldn’t stay off the field.

The fact that our defense got worked over last night doesn’t concern me as much as how our lines didn’t look great. Both offense and defense

Yep. Keep in mind those were Big12 lines that dominated ours. What are Bama, Georgia and possibly Florida going to do? It was a great win, but we have a TON that needs to improve.

That Texas team is, other than Bama, the best team we will play all season. We went to a stadium that the tigers haven’t been to since 1954 and walked away as victors. When this season is over this game will be looked at the same way we look at the game of the century against bama in 2011. Yes Texas picked apart the defense which is what they do in the big 12. I’m more impressed that our offense was able to strike back each and every time yesterday. We actually had to win a shoot out with our offense.

Offense played lights out. D got tired and couldn’t tackle. We make 5 of the 20 missed tackles and the game would’ve looked a whole lot different. Need a tackling jugs machine.

I know Miami was a bust last year but I thought they were preseason top ten.
