100% accurate. They were also the ones bitching about O getting an extension before filling the jobs.

It’s pathetic. Lying in wait for anything to go wrong with the program.

Rich coming from the guy screaming all year to fire aranda and now screaming the same for will wade.

You're a joke.

I didn’t like the O hire but I like Bo and glad he’s back. He did a very good job for LSU and will again

The funniest pivot is now “playoffs or bust - no excuses” line that has come about because O delivered a NC.

Can you link to an instance of this? Since it's so wide spread, it should be easy.

Because apparently I’m remembering his defense incorrectly/conflating them with the 2008 season and I’m reluctant to move the defense back to a 4 man front as opposed to our current 3-4 as I have grown to very much enjoy seeing the multiplicity of the back half of the defense, especially safeties, disrupting the hell out of the offense.

It's also pretty much none of the "O bashers" hating the hire. Pirate king just spews bullshite.

I'm stoked about Pelini coming back. Chalk another poster up that's bucking the trend that the OP thinks is happening.

If we are ranked #32 at the end of next season, that would be an improvement. Not bashing Aranda, but our defense finished ranked 33. I wish Aranda success and I am excited about Bo coming back.

It’s like people forgot all about Craig Steltz, Curtis Taylor, Danny Macray, etc. Pelini’s defense put them all in the NFL.

I love the people with short memories all of a sudden. He was a great DC here.

I openly said I think I’m misremembering/was too drunk in college to remember, but I also have grown to very much like the 3-4

What’s more pathetic are the people here who attack anyone for not having the same opinion.
The people who support the hire, support everything. They have no clue if it will be a good hire or not, they’re not analysis, experts or anything more than message board junkies and fans.

I am staying away from giving my opinion on the hire. I trust Orgeron, the man delivered in the biggest way possible, so there shouldn’t be a cat fight over anyone he hires.

Bo is a defensive minded coach with some heated passion who could do well with LSU talent. We’ll see.
(Kind of an opinion..oops)

He coached Nebraska from 2008 to 2011 in the Big 12 when they were full air raid. Leach at Texas Tech, Briles at Baylor. Ok. State with Gundy, etc, etc. He coached at Nebraska as they transitioned into the Big 10. His record at Nebraska, with no recruiting footprint was good.

I looked up his numbers against those team and they weren’t sub 20 like people want to make them out to be. I actually believe they were 30+
