First was to Jackfish. You then responded by calling me a dumbass. I think that is how we got off on the wrong foot. And what is with the racially insensitive Jap remarks?

Those programs weren't always "good." As a matter of fact, I believe PBS didn't even sniff good until about the late 90's. My comment was more about the fact that the guy making the comment sounded like a booster begging for people to bring their 4 and 5 star athletes to PBS. Sorry if I offended. And thank you for the dumbass comment. Always nice to know who the really polite people are on the board.

what?
first, you did not offend
second, how was that dumb?
i am talking about the current parkview, not the one from the early 90s, i know lots of guys who went to parkview voluntarily just to play a sport

Because you chopped off my post and didn't read all of it.

And Japanese people take karate, and they chop during karate. So that's where it came from.

I meant you calling me a dumbass. Misplaced modifier

And I went to PBS voluntarily to play a sport. So, I know a little about the process.

I have no affiliation with Parkview BTW. But I do know Coach Guillot and have know him for many years way before he was at Parkview. I know that he has very good relations with Coach Miles and LSU and that his step-son and Son-n-law played for LSU, and that we are always going to get a fair chance with any of his kids.

They would be glad to open up the offense BTW, when he was OC at MCNeese St and Nicholls they were one of highest scoring wide open offenses in the Southland Conference. But you have to have the athletes to run the spread man.

Maybe you rather all the good recruits go to John Curtis and play for Bama and USC?

No. I would rather they come play for my unnamed public school. Unnamed because recruiting is not allowed in the LHSAA. We take whoever lives in the district lines

But it doesn't really matter. It only costs like 12 bucks to go to school there.

I graduated from PBS and actually lined up against Beckwith and Hitt many times. I graduated the year after them. I have to agree with everyone that Coach Guillot is a great coach. He pushed us to the brink daily, but all that did was make us better players as well as men.

Thanks.
