He will be asked to retire behind closed doors and they will all agree to not admit that. It’ll look like a real retirement.
This is definitely the way to go. LSU can’t afford a PR disaster like the Miles fiasco. I think Woodward handles this a lot more professionally than Alleva did with Miles.

If so it cost LSU alot of fan support

He really needs to go, go in dignity, but GO just the same........

That last mound visit was just what the team needed
Holy shite it’s deja vu of miles vs Texas A&M. Maybe the Mandela affect is actually real.

Arky loses no ground with the outcome of this game W or L. I unfortunately see this as a mercy “throw LSU a bone”.

Paul is retirement age. Time to move on.

Let’s hope not. It’s not just the losses it’s the way he loses and quits games (like last night quits trailing 2-0.

i really believe paul retires this year
That's the only way I see him not being the coach next year and it will be 100% his choice. If he wants to come back then he will be back.

It’s pretty well known he’s retiring at the end of the season
If so, I wish he’d just announce it, if for nothing less, that everyone would be able to stfu about it

Maybe if Pulmonary announced that this is it he's retiring after this season no matter what, maybe the team would focus more and want to try and send him out a winner. Scott could get his list of baseball HC's ready. (if he hasn't already had one). Hey, what the frick I know?

No he didn’t. Were you pulling for Les to stay too?

I want to believe that. If he could of seen the writing on the wall, he could had his farewell tour. Instead, it will be a quick quiet press conference on zoom.

Exactly. I heard Van Horn before the game telling his kids to go easy on us bc he felt bad for us. He’s a good dude
