Yep, and according to old Paul Les Miles was going to have LSU reduced to Dinardo days within 3 years. Uh, well in Miles' 3rd year LSU won the NC. Uh, in Miles' 7th year LSU went 13-0 and won the SEC. Uh, in Miles' 9th year LSU won 10 games and won a New Year's Day Bowl.

Guy is definitely a Bama fan but he generally does a decent job of not being biased. It's possible we drop four but I'm surprised that he'd say that bc it's fairly unlikely.

Guy is hands down the worst host to ever do this job. He isn't decent in anything.

He's fricking awesome at stirring the pot, which in turn gets people to talk about him, which in turn gets people listening/clicking/watching, which = ad revenue which is ESPN's be-all, end-all goal. So, yeah, he's quite a lot better than decent at something.

LSU, last year, with an NFL QB, NFL RB, and two NFL WRs, that accounted for the record breaking year of yardage, still had three losses..and a narrow escape job vs Ark.
But, four losses with incredible(albeit greenhorn) talent replacing all four of those skill slots, and lacking much for returning stats on the DL, returning with LSU's worst tackling team in a decade-plus(yet came on strong late in year), while playing in the by far toughest division in all of NCAA Football, a year where the two Mississippi schools have closed some of the talent gap on the rest, and still married to Florida as permanent cross rivalry in a home revenge game(vs Muschamp and Co fighting for their jobs at home this Fall)..seems implausible?
I find it quite possible, even if LSU starts the year 5-0...think at least three will happen even if start the year 6-0.
Next year, LSU is back in the mix for the Final Four Playoff.

Agreed, I'm excited about seeing this young team having to grow up fast, will be happy and proud of them, regardless of any growing pains.

young inexperienced defense, far more difficult schedule, and first year under cam cameron's offense.
we return a better o-line, better overall defense with more experience and greater talent, and most importantly an extremely favorable schedule this season.

I don't take anything for granted. Every year our schedule is a very difficult. LSU absolutely could lose 4 games. That said, we could run the table. So if Paul Finebaum hurt your feelings, I suggest you put your big boy pants on because its going to get a hell of a lot tougher than that.
