Would Phillips directly replace DW’s role at 235lbs vs Queen at 215?

Queen at 215

Queen isnt 215 he is 230ish, he put on about 15-20 lbs last off season and may gain some more this offseason.

If that’s true, wow. He packed in on over the past year.

He looked damn good in his time Vs Bama and in the bowl game. He has stepped up when called on and looks ready to be a bigger contributor next season. He may rely more on speed than power, but he looked up to the task in limited mins this year.

Queen looked really good to me in limited action. With Queen, Phillips, Baskerville, Clark, and Starks we are looking good. You're never going to not miss a Butkus award winner, but I think we'll be solid at inside linebacker probably for at least as long as we have Aranda.

To match an NFL Top 10 pick?

No shite Capt Obvious. Want to let us in on anything else that we may not know?

I know that's what he listed at but there is no chance queen is below 225. he looks almost as big as phillips who is 235

Aranda used Queen off the edge some later in the season and he looked every bit of 230-240lbs going up against 300lb OL.

My only knock on Queen is he plays out of control a bit, like a lot of inexperienced players do. With a full spring to be THE MAN in the middle, though, I believe we'll get that ironed out.

As fast as Devin White is, on the field it seems Queen is just a little bit quicker. That's pretty scary to think about if you're an opposing offensive player.

Next man up.
