Dumb....If Peterson would have chosen A&M it may have been fishy but hmm let me see......play for a weak A&M team or the defending national champions 07.
Why does malone keep the information to himself for 4 years once peterson is getting ready for the draft?
The article makes peterson and lsu look bad when their is no evidence of anything....ex peterson and lyles could not be reached......yeah hes probably at a busy moment of his life.

A&M didn't initiate the interview nor did a current Aggie coach. Van Malone initiated the interview and he currently coaches for Tulsa.

The article just says this Lyle dude was pimpin' a player, not that anyone was paying anyone. This violation was against Peterson and maybe should sue for slander.

So with yalls automatic assumption that PP must have picked LSU over A&M for money that obviously Mettenberger must have done the same thing as PP and picked LSU over A&M for money..
I'm not saying its true or not true but at this time of sports honestly anyone could come out and say anything about anyone right now and its going to erupt with questions and believers.

I don't think anyone in this thread is automatically assuming anything.
Some have simply stated that it would not surprise them if LSU did pay PP or other high profile recruits. It happens at every big time college program, LSU is not an exception.

Lyles may have asked for money. That in no way implicates PP or LSU.

Lsu did not pay PP. No evidence and it doesn't seem
right. The cam thing was obvious. Never even visited auburn and all of a sudden his dad gets money for the church etc. Etc. If auburn didn't get in trouble this is a no story

I'm not so naive as to think that people associated with football programs don't pay players, but this one just does not add up.
C'mon! I'm suppose to believe that Malone has too much integrity to break rules in PP7's recruitment. Then Malone fails to report the violation to Franchione or aTM.
