IIRC something very similar happened at St. Paul. I think the players "involved" were thrown off (although I believe the one that filmed was not tossed...but he was one helluva a player). The coach here wasn't fired here so who knows what the story is at Parkway. It would be hard to blame them for this occurring outside of school. I wouldn't let those guys play (at St. Paul or Parkway) but that's just me. Winning covers a lot of hidden issues though. The Parkway coach being fired just doesn't make sense to me.

Here is what I know because I heard him say it... He had issues with the way Nick Saban did things. He had issues with the way Les Miles did things. He had issues with the way Cam Cameron did things. He had issues with the way Bret Bielema did things.

I know. Being an OK high school football coach doesn't qualify you to become omnipotent. His arrogance bit him in the arse this time. I have a relative who coached with him and I've heard first hand stories of what an a-hole he is.

Was Parkway the school that tried to have Live Oak's coach arrested before a playoff game a few years ago because he wouldn't get his players off the field during warm-ups so the band could march, or some bullshite like that?

Yes. They were also the school that were ineligible for the playoffs about 2 years ago because they played a freshman qb (who is now their star qb) who lived across the river in Caddo parish.

Yes, Coach O has had his demons and fought them well. From what I can tell, it seems as if Coach has conquered his demons. OTOH, Coach Feaster has a long history of various problems and has apparently not conquered them.

This situation reeks of a personality conflict with the principal. Coach had probably been told to shut his mouth and didn't do it.
Also, in the past Feaster hadn't stayed at one school for too long after leaving Many.

What people are failing to realize: banning Bama from campus doesn't keep Bama from recruiting the kid, nor will it limit a kids opportunity. If Bama offers, the kid probably has 20-30 offers anyway.
The coaches at Dutchtown and Denham Springs should have the same stance against Arkansas after what fat boy did a few years ago!

He is correct in each of those issues. Nick Saban deceived Brandon Harris. Miles and Cameron ran a Pee wee football offense and it hurt the Qbs. Fat Boy screwed 3 kids out of college opportunities a few days before signing day!
