"On the radio it sounded pretty loud those last 10 minutes, but on TV it wasn’t. All those old people were sitting the last 2:00 even when Arky has the ball. That’s when the team needs the crowd the most and we weren’t contributing to the energy and passion"
Dude, I'm old and I came home hoarse with my ears ringing. I play in a band and my ears don't ring this loud. All you guys that claim the deaf dome wasn't rocking last night are not recognizing reality. Please don't reproduce! ??

Crowd was loud during the comeback but it took us getting down by 18 to wake up. We need to be loud from the start. But maybe now we can understand how a crowd can effect the game. Because they were definitely part of the comeback
If you want to be a cheerleader, become one or sit in the student section. Standing up and acting like an idiot is just annoying.

So only clap for a good play by LSU and otherwise sit down and shut up? GTFO with that bullshite! Were you the prick behind me trying to make everyone sit down quietly for the last 30-45 seconds?

quote:. I very much disagree. It sounded very loud in the last 10 minutes of the game. Much, much louder than any other games I’ve heard broadcast from there this year or the last several years in fact.
On TV, the crowd was not that loud.

If a player gets rattled by crowd noise he has no business playing D1 college ball.
I guess from time to time it happens, but most guys are so locked in they don't even notice the crowd.
I'm all for a lively atmosphere. I just don't think crowd noise has as much of an impact in basketball as it does football.
Home court advantage has everything to do with being comfortable playing in a building you've played in many times in the past.

And I was in NJ unfortunately, watching on tv like you probably do all season. But yeah, show up for one game and tell everyone else how to do it. You were probably complaining about players and coaching staff for the first 30 minutes.

I’ve been going to games since the early 90’s. That’s as loud as I ever seen it. The atmosphere was electric.

No fans do not scream the entire game in football. The PMAC was louder yesterday than any football game in 2018.

You know will Wade & players said that the crowd last night was the best it’s been all season and were the reason they rallied back to make it a game?
What the hell are you talking about? It’s not a fricking morgue stop bitching. If it’s good enough for the damn players and coach, it’s good enough for the goofy fan base on here complaining.

Don’t let the 29-0 loss distract you from the fact that tiger stadium was as loud as it’s ever been that night. Don’t take that away from the LSU fan base. We have a good fan base and don’t deserve to be shite on all the time by people on here who call themselves tiger fans.

Sounded loud to me on tv. At least in the latter stages of the game and in comparison to what it sounded like in most other games I've watched on TV the last couple of years.
