The holes were not there and he wasn't indecisive he was being patient to setup the blocks which is his running style but the holes were not there. Charles Turner had an atrocious game.

Yes, those 10 carries would have been better utilized letting the RBs get 40-50 yards instead.

you guys are arguing with the wrong guy. arguing with me about the offensive style doesn't always allow for volume rb touches yet the op blames the rb's for barely even touching the ball. sensitive fricking sallies.

I think Jackson is going to be a stud. I was hoping he was going to have a coming out party but I think we should run more than just JD5, but the more I watch JD5 run I think he might be the best (fastest) RB I've ever seen!

Awful take

Diggs only had 8 carries

That’s like saying Daniels sucked had he thrown 8 passes

was he being punished? He's been playing great prior to that game and was then benched

Jayden having 163 rushing yards has nothing. To do w an offense that takes away from rb’s? Lol

Taking advantage of a Heisman candidate’s talent isn’t fricking lazy, as you called it.

This team is weak and is unraveling.

All college scholarship RB at every school are only as good as their OL. If the OL can't give the RB a hole, then the RB is going to look horrible.
Remember when one of our all time RB's can't like 15yds on 15 carries against Bama. Do you think he forgot how to run the ball or could it be that the OL is just getting manhandled. Our OLine is constantly overrated.

receivers played just like they did against FSU and the game result was basically identical

Yes, we should take the ball out of Daniels and the WR’s hands and run it into the teeth of the strongest DL we’ve played. That’s a much better decision schematically.

Was it lazy for Bama to do basically the same thing? Milroe had as many carries as their two top backs combined.

1. Alabama has a pretty stout rushing defense.

2. We didn’t run the ball very much anyway. The RBs only had 13 attempts. 4 of those 13 were in short yardage situations (one was a 2yd TD).

3. Trey Holly..? Why would he get touches at this point over Diggs, Williams, or Jackson outside of garbage time or Georgia State? Because Diggs had a handful of short runs against Alabama?

4. This offensive line is not nearly as good as the 2019 line that dominated a similar Bama DLine in Tuscaloosa. Maybe next year they will be, but they did not get it done this year.

I don't need to. I don't care what you guys think Diggs did not look like same back. Williams did look good but we didn't run the ball enough. I think they had the mentality we couldn't stop Bama and since we weren't be successful in the running game they decided to abandon it lean on the passing game.

I'd like to the younger backs get some reps for the rest of the season.

The issue was with you calling that “lazy” when this is the second highest scoring offense in LSU history. It’s not lazy. It’s effective.

You have really shown your arse over this Daniels and Nuss stuff lately. You were so unbelievably wrong and can’t handle it and your true colors are shining through. I thought you were just a douche troll on Saints Talk, but you’ve revealed yourself to just be a fricking a-hole. And just an embarrassingly stupid motherfricker at that. But you keep doing you, guy.

i support Jayden Daniels. I haven't trashed him since last year when he played very poorly at times.

i support Garret Nussmeier completely and think very highly of his talent, leadership and his commitment to the university you support.

Not sure what arse you think i'm supposed to be embarrassed about.

Wait a minute...there was no problem with the run game. Or the pass game. And LSU scored points and held onto the ball. So I'm not sure why a few of you are acting like it's 2015. The offense was not the problem against Alabama. Everyone just has PTSD from the Miles' era so we don't even know where the f'ck to lay the blame anymore.
(hint: the defense was an abomination)
