I have been recording it as the season went on. I keep them in a spreadsheet. Obsessing over stats is part of my curse

They also give exit Velo, height, and angle. They do not give data on every home run, and it is possible I missed a few

https://x.com/LSUBaseballData?s=20

Players with HRs of Exit Velos 105 or more

Jake Brown - 7
Cade Arrambide - 6
Zach Yorke - 4
Omar Serna Jr. - 3
John Pearson - 2
Seth Dardar - 1
Derek Curiel - 1

Specifics

Cade Arrambide - 110 MPH
Seth Dardar - 109 MPH
Omar Serna Jr. - 109 MPH
Omar Serna Jr. - 109 MPH
Jake Brown - 109 MPH
Omar Serna Jr. - 108 MPH
John Pearson - 108 MPH
Zach Yorke - 108 MPH
Zach Yorke - 108 MPH
Jake Brown - 108 MPH

Derek Curiel - 108 MPH

Not to hijack but remind me next season one of us needs to keep track of challenges

I was gonna track errors this year, but I lollygagged on the start, didn't feel like I had the time to go back and trace out that many of them.

Maybe we need to track the shifts and when they work or don't work

Fun stat of the year I would have laughed at you before SEC play started

Zach Yorke saw 54 plate appearances in SEC play this season

He had 0 XBH, quite literally zero doubles, triples or home runs

I would have laughed hysterically at you or say he must have gotten hurt early on if he would have 0 XBH in SEC this season

On another funny note, he is tied for 2nd for LSU players in stolen bases in SEC play this season with 2

There were people on this site saying stanny wouldn’t even hit 1 homer in the preseason

He hit 3 and JML was his biggest cheerleader so give credit where credit is due to both stanny and JML

After that Missouri home run just now in the sixth thinning I was coming on to ask if they’ve moved the fences in because they are bombing them today and this is the first of 15 games.

If I had to bet, I’d say under.

I hope they find a way to make some noise, but they’ve been very good at shooting themselves in the foot lately. So I could see them only playing 1 or 2 games.
