Over and Under - Miami scores over 14 pts - LSU scores over 24 pts

I'm under on Miami

I'm over on LSU

LSU D shuts down Miami

The Joe Attack opens it up with CSE calling all the plays as we score 28 to 34 pts

Looks like about 31 days out - Game Day!

This could either be a 14-10 type game or a 31-7 type game. It all depends on Rozier. I don't know how good Miami is because the only good opponents they've played recently, they got blown out by.

I think our defense will do really good, and if Fulton is back, Miami will struggle.

So with that being said

Maimi - under
LSU - over

31-7 with our defense forcing multiple turnovers.

Only good teams Miami got blown out by? Did you watch last year? They only got blown out by Clemson. They destroyed the ND team that beat us along with a top 15 VT.
Sometimes this fan base is delusional. Burrows left Ohio because he couldn’t get in the game and now we think he’s this rockstar that transferred from the frickin Big Ten.
LSU ain’t scoring more than 17 points. Real question is which Miami offense shows up and how many mistakes does our QB make.

I'm glad you missed the part where I said it completely relies on how Rozier plays and if Fulton is back. Miami struggled against Toledo, Georgia Tech, Syracuse, North Carolina, and Virginia, Pittsburgh, Clemson, and Wisconsin.

I watched most of Miamis games last year's, they were dominated in every asset against Pittsburgh (who was far worse then Troy), Clemson, and Wisconsin.

LSUs defense is what's gonna help us score 24+ points. Rozier is known to choke against good defenses and it'll be decided on whoever creates more turnovers, which is something that he struggled with.

Miami gave up 31ppg their last three games. They did beat ND. This is why they play the game on the field. I do remember the last time we played a “good”. Miami team. Lsu won 40to 3. I also saw us get blown out by Miami in Tiger stadium in the 80’s. Neither of,those are relevant today.

This is all I’m saying.
Miami lost their 3 best players mid season. RB, WR, TE. So what they won close games, I read on this thread that they got blown out by every good team they played. Those are not the same things.
Also, having Rosier return as a senior for QB with last year under his belt “should” make him better would you agree?
Would you also agree that it’s kind of embarrassing that we are so excited to pick up a transfer QB that wasn’t able to reach the field for OSU, the team and conference we all typically make fun of?

I’m going to go 23-13 LSU so under for both

I think Aranda terrorizes Rozier, and I’m pretty sure E will play things close to the vest with Burrow against a defense that feeds on turnovers.

He will give him easy underneath throws to TEs and dump offs to CEH and tell him to tuck and run if his reads aren’t there.

For all the talk of going spread and using our athletes at WR, this actually isn’t the game to try it. I think we’ll see that more against an Auburn D that is more vulnerable in the secondary.

This is honestly a game tailor made for the Miles offense. Grind it out and don’t let that defense get hyped while our D wears their O and QB down.

I see Tracy being a big part of this win actually. Play field position and take FGs instead of trying to force the issue in the red zone.

Get out with the W and wait to unleash Burrow in SEC play.

The easiest way either team goes over those numbers is points off of turnovers. Can’t let that chain come out for Miami, but I could see Delpit or White making a big play or Jefferson, Giles, or Vincent taking a punt the other way similar to the way we did against Oregon in 2011.

This feels more and more like that team every day we get closer to kickoff imo.

I dont see any way Miami scores over 10 points.

This is looking more and more like a 31-10 or 38-10 type game

I'll take the over, although I think this LSU defense could dominate. 14 is a low number though.

Under. Easy call. If LSU scores over 24 (barring a defensive or special teams score), the outlook for the season will look entirely different on that Monday.

Absolutely we should be excited. He is Etling 2.0. With the defense we have we need someone with knowledge and a steady head, not a sophomore being thrown to the wolves. Etling stepped in and really helped our offense become stable and you can not deny that Burrow will be better than him. I think people joke about him being the savior but he is a step up from what we had and someone learning under Urban for a couple of years can only be a good thing.

thanks for that - I didn't watch Miami much last year

I love it when folk bring up game like ND as if that means something - play a team early then someone else plays the same team later - means nothing

Sept 2 can't wait!

Miami early Top 10 pick - we will all see how that plays out

I agree

CSE knows what he has in this stable of WR's - if Joe is what I hope he is we could go over 34 - if not we still win

low side

24-10

high side

38/41 - 10

I think this is what Miami will be ready for

I don't agree we play it tight - I think both CEO and CSE are ready to let it go

the orange bowl was 34-24 and Miami was in it the entire game until the cheeseheads pulled away at the very end
