Outrageous conspiracy theory about the LSU-Bama game.
Saban tells Bama to lose on purpose to LSU, they win out, skip the SEC Championship game, get the #4 rank, essentially get a bye week and be fresh for the CFB Playoffs.
I know his ego won’t let him do it.
ETA- No, I don’t believe this. Saban’s not that stupid.

I don't see two SEC teams getting in especially if Notre Dame wins out.
Clemson, Notre Dame, SEC Champ, and either Big 12 or Big 10 champ.

Never lose to win. These types of theories are the most incompatible to football strategies ever conceived.

While it may not be a conspiracy, history proves that it would not be such a bad thing toward their eventual goal of a NC if it did happen.

Yup.
And Big 12 definitely has the edge on Big 10 champ.. but Michigan/Ohio St will definitely help whoever wins that game.
