Stayed on their backsides, put there by Georgia's true freshman o lineman. This kid was playing high school ball last year.

That's not true. Did you really watch the game or are you just stirring? Moreno had some big plays but our Dline was far from on their behinds.

either they were being held constantly or these guys are seriously out of shape with the exception of Alem. If its not conditioning or holding, then it must be poor technique right?? how the hell else do you explain 3 SR's and JR getting handled by a freshmen and sophomore o-line?

They got their arse handed to them. There is no excuse for it. They should have been in the backfield all afternoon.

Agree, that our dline got whipped by freshman and sophmores, where is the fire and the qback sacks. It sounds to me that Allem is frustrated and knows they can do better.

We haven't had the pass rush that I thought we would this year, but so many teams run a spread type offense that most QB's don't hold on to the ball very long. Quick passes. When we did get pressure on Stafford yesterday he made some brilliant passes falling away with guys in his face. Pretty frustrating.

Goes to show everyone that there is a fine line between good play and mediocre play. But there is really no excuse for it.

I did see our guys getting held a lot yesterday with no calls, but that happens every game. One of my coaches in high school told us that holding was no excuse, and that if you do get held, try to break the offensive lineman's arms. Our guys just don't look like they're getting a push and Rahim Alem definitely looks like he is the hardest-working player out there.

Rarely agree with Deke on WWL radio but he said the biggest disappointment was how our junior/senior laden DL could not dominate a freshmen/sophomore DL of Georgias. Deke said that Georgis's left DT was a true freshman starting his second game.

As Deke said with a mismatch like that you can't just be happy with a draw............you need to dominate or you lose.

I don't know, we expect our freshmen to be all-world, maybe Georgia does too...

I know I'll be accused of flaming but most of you LSU fans are amazing. At the beginning of the year all I read on here was how great your D-line was gonna be. How LSU had 8 or 10 guys on the line that were interchangable. How yall would dominate every team you played. Now most of what I read is how bad, or fat, or how out of shape they are. I can't believe how quickly so called fans throw players under the bus. And, by the way, this is not a flame, just an observation from an outsider.

Yes, and they SHOULD be!
They have experience and all the "talent" in the world. Pre-season all-Americans and high expectations. I don't think we are throwing them under the bus, just cannot explain their lack of production (not living up to potential).
