UW is from a BCS conference (always have been, not just added this year) and they have at least won a national championship in the last 22 years. TCU is a mid-major at best. Nothing attractive to me about playing them and it is a step down and a cop out.

Dumb statement. Ask anyone who they think is more relevant to CFB in the last 10 years between TCU and Washington and they will all say TCU unless they are PAC12 fans. I would much rather play a TCU team who has a chance to win the Big 12 than play a Washington team who will always finish 4th or lower in the PAC12.

They BETTER schedule somebody good and cool for that last game

or else what?

Name another school that schedules like that every year. Sorry playing UGA, Florida, Auburn, Bama, A&M, Miss. St, Arkansas, and TCU isn't a strong enough schedule for you.

Our fan base sucks. Ohio state went to multiple bcs games because of their weak arse schedule.

Terrible argument. TCU has been a better team the last few years than UW has.

Kent State, UAB, and Furman are better than UNT, Idaho, and Towson.

tl;dr Next year's schedule sucks, but you're still wrong. It isn't as bad as this year's, at least as far as SOS is concerned.

If you're the best then schedule the best and beat them. The whole "The SEC schedule is hard enough" is BS. I hate it when we schedule like pussies, and I hate it when other schools do it too. I can see how it is a lot better to play UAB, Kent State, and Furman in a half-empty stadium than it is to actually test yourself. One cupcake game in Week 1 and MAYBE one more is more than enough.

I know these games sucks, but it happens. I dont think its as easy as people think. Want big ooc games, going to have to give up a home game. Teams with a shot at the title dont want to go away to another school with a shot. Plenty of times we had teams back out. It doesnt bother me because most years the sec schedule is good enough. We won six strait. Every top team has teams on the schedule they have no business playing.

And yes, I am one who complains about the cupcakes and our 2013 schedule is shameful.

I agree, we should have scheduled USC, Oregon, and Oklahoma.

Did you just start watching college football fricking yesterday?

We have some dumb fans. These are the same people that would be bitching about losing a chance at a national title if we played some murderous schedule.

And FWIW, people need to realize that every SEC team has an FCS team on their schedule as do most top 25 teams. They need to quit acting like it's just us.

I know scheduling a fcs team is unavoidable but as a season ticket holder I'd rather go watch uab , Idaho ,or la tech than furman or towsen

You do realize TCU plays in the Big 12 and is ranked, right? TCU > Washington

But Washington feels more attractive so clearly they're better.

Op: you just like Washington bc of their name. Bama played Michigan and penn state the year before. Both are as bad as Washington. Just bc it's a traditional school doesn't make it better.

Well I'll just be quiet. I'm not the one that spends money on season tickets for three decent home games all year. I'm not saying we need to schedule heavyweights for all of our OOC games, but can we at least schedule two interesting games? I realize that we are making contracts with teams as far out as 8-10 years from now, but...I'm done. Geaux Tigers beat the Golden Flashes!

Unlike other conferences we don't get the luxury of playing cupcakes year round and going easily undefeated. We need breaks and tune-ups in the schedule. Plus we get Georgia and Florida. Bama got the easy route for conference scheduling.
