We’ve had a ton who haven’t been drafted..but ironically the most recent have both been transfers. Can’t hurt our chances one bit ;-)

Andrew Hatch was drafted into the Peace Corps.

And I can see where that's actually a benefit. Most QBs in the NFL aren't going to stay on one team their whole career. Very few are franchise guys, but they fill an essential role on any team. You have to be mentally tough to be a career backup/journeyman, and suddenly have to carry a team in a playoff run (look at Keenum and Foles).
A guy like Etling may not have great physical tools, but instead of folding at Purdue, he transferred UP to LSU, and became a winning starter/game manager. A guy like Mett, with a great arm but a big mess early on campus, transferred and had a great season.
Those guys fought through adversity and didn't give up, when lots of people would have. Definitely worth a look, when you consider they'd be auditioning for a career backup role.
