I know we were outplayed all the way around but when that first TD was nullified I wished for an NFL challenge flag. No, I don't think we should be able to review every single foul because the game would be torment to watch live if that were the case but I think a limited # of challenge flags like the NFL uses would have made a difference here.

1. I really thought it was a bad call. So did the announcers.
2. It could have helped their confidence. At the beginning of the game the passing game seemed to be on track and then the wheels came off.

I know all the other problems that we have all agonized over since Saturday night... just asking if you think that could have made ANY difference (besides the obvious 7 points) in the outcome.

We got beat by 30. Stop trying to blame it on one call. Our lines getting dominated had much more to do with the loss.

Read before you reply. He clearly said he's not.

Does the NFL allow reviews of penalty calls?

There was no 'targeting' associated with that PI call which nullified the first TD.

If we got beat by 30 because of that one big blown call, then these Tigers are not mentally tough enough or prepared for SEC football.

These are college kids - many are freshmen.

It could conceivably brought a lot of confidence to our side and eliminated some of the swagger from MS.

Who knnows what could have happened - probably just a closer game.

I think the ejections had more of an effect on our confidence and put us deeper in the depth chart.

eta - I think the targeting was more of a mistake than an intentional act. Nevertheless, they need to learn to prevent that kind of contact.

Maybe so but the score also dictates play calling. LSU was forced into passing situations b/c of the scoreboard. Our running game was working. It's over and that's that. Hopefully our Tigers can right the ship and move on from this nightmare. We are better than the score indicated but our d-line was indeed dominated by Moo State. I agree....

I think all pass interference calls should be reviewed and confirmed-like the targeting calls are.

We still would have got beat soundly. Just face the fact that we are not very good right now.

I think that first PI call that brought back the 60+ yard TD was a big factor early in the game. We would've been up 7-0 with a completely different mindset. Instead of tying at 7-7 later on we could've gone up 14-7 with momentum. I don't necessarily think we would have won the game but we wouldn't have lost by 30. Our youth and issues on the lines were exposed. Good thing is that it's early in the season and these younger guys will only get better. I can still see this team going 9-3 or 10-2.

Young teams can and do play on emotion and getting a big play called back, then to keep committing penalties early impacted some.

But we are glass fragile if impacted us to a 30 point blowout.

Gotta be tougher. And more personally responsible. If you do your job, win your individual battle on a play. You can gain confidence.

It seemed to me esp on the lines were beat up and lost confidence.

I blame the bad call on Alabama.

They got beat by Clemson on a "rub route " so I'm sure this was something the SEC wanted to focus on in the off seadon

Regardless....still one of the worst calls you will ever see. The defensive back actually should have been called for PI on Sullivan. Go watch it again...he took a terrible angle on Chark who came out of the H-back position and then ran into Sullivan trying to recover. That touchdown changes the game completely. It's 17-14 at half vs 17-7. It's 20-14 instead of 20-7. Sorry...it had an enormous impact on the game and our ability to run the ball and use Guice. Also allowed them to just run NF on quarterback keepers to just kill the clock away. It was as bad a call as Auburn 2004 non-PI call.
