When was the last time that happened? I'll tell you...the years that college basketball banned dunking(thanks Lew). Actually had plays, no palming, no walking, no dunking. Took some skill to play and the average center was probably 6'7"ish.

You probably pleasure yourself while watching "Grease" huh??

I know I love college basketball more than baseball. I am the exact opposite of most LSU fans. It pains me when the basketball team is bad, but the baseball team I follow a lot more casually. I'll never buy season baseball tickets but got my cheap seats for the PMAC this year!

For me it's a matter of passion born of youth.

When I was young my Dad took me to LSU football and baseball games. College baseball here then was as it is now in most of the rest of the country. A minor sport, sparsely attented and little thought of.

So when it blossomed here I got into it in the post-season, but it still for me can never take the place of the two sports that I came to love unconditionally in my youth.

I think we need to not attack other sports. I don't care much for baseball but the baseball team wins year in and year out. The glory days of LSU basketball was when they won year in year out. Marcus thortons senior year they were coming off a disappointing season with Anthony randolph leaving for the draft. Also I remember a few basketball threads at the beginning of football season

Plenty of baseball threads pop up with basketball jabs every year. That's prob. Why zealot brought up baseball. It does get old but baseball is bandwagon and will come to pmac on a bandwagon if we start winning as well. It doesn't bother me like it use to.

Don't talk about the best fans in the country like that. If for any reason, because they're still too busy high fiving Stony Brook in our players faces to realize they're being called out.

Which basketball players have flanked out of school recently? Please enlighten me. Or is that your assumption because they are predominantly African american?
I really hope you're trying to be funny here. If it's sarcasm, it's a big fail. If you're serious, you're a racist.

My favorite moment of the regionals was when I got to see a 10 year old kid tell Chris Guillot to get out of his way and stop yelling because he couldn't see the game.

I think there is no question a reasonably consistent winner in hoops improves interest. How much so is the question.

For me, I don't think it will ever approach what it was in the 80's. But I'll take simply better.

I've had to tell Chris he was blocking our view of the field several times. To his credit, he has always been very polite about it, apologizing and moving out of the way.

You speak the truth...The Advocate printed edition
doesn't help when they bury today's write-up on
page 7. LSU basketball seems to be low priority
for them.

I'll never understand people posting that they don't like a sport in a thread about said sport. I don't troll on curling or figure skating threads.
