Troy, Notre dame, Florida (2018) , Texas A&M (2018).. the list goes on.

Our biggest problem is handling the business. The inconsistency.

THAT is what would sell me on Coach O.

The losing to Florida and then stomping a top 10 UGA squad is quite frankly as inconsistent as it gets.

If we can win the games that a program like LSU should win, we are in the playoffs.

Because i would lay 1000$ easily on Vegas favoring us in every matchup that isn't Alabama.

Of course, it starts with Texas. The perfect team to make an impact on CFB.

There’s such a thing as player matchups, and one game being home, and one away.

You’re looking at things in a vacuum

LA Tech passing for 330 against us and beating Arky by only 7 weren’t our best moments either, but I see your point

O needs to win, period. It’s that plain and simple.

We should’ve kept Miles promoted Orgeron and made them co-head coaches. It wouldn’t be far from the absurdity we have now but neither of them could beat Bama.

OP didn’t mention Arkansas. Clearly hasn’t followed LSU the last 10 years.

That's not enough to account for thumping UGA and getting pantsed by Bama, both at home.

those are symptoms. Our biggest problem has been crappy oline play. Next biggest problem is crappy OCs. Poor qbs didn't help.

You act like this is an LSU problem. It's what makes college football great. We watch it for the upsets. If every team that was supposed to win every week won, then it would be boring.
LSU isn't immune to this. We will get beat by people who shouldn't be on the field with us. We will have games like Georgia last year and 2007 Virginia Tech where we rout teams we are supposed to play close. I would say we could pull an upset every now and again, but honestly, how many times do you expect us to lose?

Not being able to score a single pt vs Bama in almost 3 years has kinda been a big problem.

Your post typically are extremely pro Wade and anti "O"

Answer this question.

If the LSU basketball team does not perform next year to the level they did this year does Will Wade come under fire or get a pass?

I love Wade and just asking why you are so negative on "O"

Last year our football team finished the season ranked 6th in the nation. Basketball and baseball both made it to the final 16 and did not advance however you constantly bash "O" and CPM.

Do not answer that Wade was not on the court during the basketball playoffs as this was due to his own actions.

I think that if we beat Florida we may not have beat Georgia. We caught them sleeping that day and sometimes losses like that (not excusing them) allow us to win games we weren’t necessarily supposed to.

Not speaking for him, but I believe the difference is turning around a program is much different than trying to live up to high expectations.

Love it or not, fair or not baseball and football have much higher expectations throughout the entire fanbase and failing to compete for titles is going to lead to your downfall.

However in basketball Wade is bringing all this energy to a dead program. Give it 2 or 3 years and the expectations might be close. But we havent had sustained success in basketball for quite some time.

Florida (2018)

Florida ended up being a top ten loss on the road and LSU had a chance to win. That loss is not as bad as it seemed at the time and does not belong on the list with the others.

If you are going to say Miami and Auburn weren’t as good of wind by the end of the season you have to use that same logic for the Florida loss.

that problem continues today, that is why for the past few years and especially since Orgeron has been Head coach, Alabama has owned LSU. So many O supporters are predicting a win over Alabama this year and yet we can’t score on Alabama. How are we suppose to beat Alabama if we can’t score on them. But I digress because we have plenty of football to play before the Alabama game.
