It is a ban substance, doesn't matter if anyone thinks it helps or hinders an athlete it is banned.

Typical Oklahoma, their starting pitcher tests positive for a banned substance, it becomes national news and they are going to allow him to pitch this weekend.

Oklahoma's team slogan;

"If you ain't cheatin, you ain't trying"

Adderall, which is banned by virtually every sports organization, provides many benefits to athletes, say medical experts. "There's no question it's a performance-enhancing drug," says Dr. Gary Wadler, a past chairman of the World Anti-Doping Agency's Prohibited List Committee.

I used to take adderall on my HS golf team. Made me a 50x better ball striker but my damn hands would tremble a little with my putter.

Adderall can CERTAINLY help athletes. Athletes have been taking speed to give them extra energy and focus since speed has been around. FACT. It helps.

If he's not prescribed, he should be suspended for a few games.

What should happen is the NCAA should test him.

I don't think MLB tests should have an affect on his college games. If his mom drug tested him at home, would he get suspended? The MLB has about as much to do with the NCAA as Mrs. Gray.

NCAA needs to test him at least once this week, I have no clue how long this stays in your system, but a test early in the week and a test again Friday would be my plan.

If you're young and in shape with little body fat, only a few days.

That's what I figured.

I just don't see any way the NCAA can validate suspending this guy based on an MLB test. If they don't conduct their own this week I will be shocked.

Absolutely helps rugby players and I imagine any athlete in similar sport.

I don't think wanting a guy who cheats to be suspended is inappropriate.

To be honest, I hope he's addicted to Adderall and going through withdrawals while on the mound.

My only concern re Gray is that he consistently will knock the bat out of Stevenson's hands.

im sure he will. hopefully instead of trying to high five him the fans will be yelling adderall all through his warm ups and then every time he is on the mound

Seems like it so far. I think it's a pretty bad move on their part. It is a drug that is banned by the NCAA and he failed a drug test for taking it. If they don't suspend him, they should at least drup test him themselves to make it look like they care a little bit.

It would be funny if he was having a "crash day" on the mound.
