the cluster frick that was Pelini caused a lot of the issues last year and it sounds like most of it has been cleaned up.
They haven't played a game yet.

Where is there any evidence at all that it's been cleaned up?

Y’all think we got all new players on the DL? It’s the same guys plus more depth. Not sure why you think they magically became dominant. Good isn’t great.

Seriously? Do you even follow this team? Roy was a force at the end of the season. Guillory hardly played because he was injured. Evans emerged at the end of the year and through the Spring. Add Maason Smith and you have a pretty bad arse line without considering the tackles or any of the vets at DT. Maybe you should pay more attention.

Sorry meant to upvote. Apparently this dude just talks without knowing much about LSU. If anyone knows our football team then they would know that we’ll be formidable on the Dline and have a significantly better overall team this year.

So basically what this guy is saying is the 2018 OL should have played the same way in 2019 which we all know isn’t the case at all. Some people’s children.

I cannot wait for this game

I badly need the distraction and the enjoyment of watching the tigers play.

There’s only so much you can get from Spring Games. That said, the main takeaway from the defense was that no one was looking around not knowing what to do or where to be. No one had their hands up wondering what the hell was going on. They were organized and completely comfortable with what they were being asked to do. Because of that, they were more aggressive and were getting to the football.

If our players just know what they are doing, the talent starts to show up. Organization and comfort level in the scheme are enough to make this defense a lot better than it was in 2020. Hopefully the new staff takes things a lot further than that, but I’ve seen enough to know we aren’t going to get a replay of Moo U Saturday.
