It's more than that. You don't just stop when the inning is over. 1-0 to the#1 team gives you hope. 3-0 makes you press. A quick bottom half didn't help either

I agree. Seemed like the wind went out of our sails when he went out. Gilbert kept us afloat but we just didn't help ourselves. Not sure we would have won regardless, but Walker would have likely kept us in striking distance and given us a chance.
