It was 9 - 4. We finished #18 in the AP. For reference Les Miles exceeded that 6 of his last 7 years and we ran him off. O’s spectacular ranking of #18 would rank as the 9th best season in Les Miles’ time at LSU.

Wait, you morons said at the beginning of the season that O wouldn't win 4 games. Then after we lost to Troy, you morons said again that O wouldn't win more than four games and we told you assholes what would happen.

Then when O won 9 games, it's like he stuck his middle bird finger in you retard's eyes. Give me a break, you morons are funny. You can't have it both ways!

Please explain to me, in which ways LSU has improved from hiring Orgeron, up to this point.

Well, the season didn’t collapse this year as the LSU/O haters hatefully were predicting like it could easily have collapsed after we found out that we didn’t have any depth on the offensive and defensive lines and that our field goal kickers were both horrible. Only excellent coaching by O and his staff saved our season for us from falling apart. Not for the LSU/O haters, but for us. Indeed, it’s irrefutable that O’s predecessor left him high and dry as far as depth on the offensive and defensive lines goes.

Meanwhile, all the LSU/O haters were predicting before the season that O wouldn’t win more than four games in the season. Then when O lost to Troy State, the LSU/O haters once again reiterated that O wouldn’t win more than 4 games. However, O won 9 games instead, which is 5 more games than the LSU/O haters were predicting. Hence, that’s a pretty good plus to me, not for the LSU/O haters, but for LSU and true fans of LSU unlike the Negatigers.

quote:

I understand its a small sample size so far, but give me reasons to believe that LSU is moving in the right direction with the hiring of Orgeron.

Okay, O’s first recruiting class last year was one of the best recruiting classes we’ve had in many years because it actually met our needs. Indeed, if it wouldn’t have been excellent, then we would have lost many games this season because Les Miles didn’t leave O with any depth on the offensive and defensive lines.

Although it wasn’t ranked as high as some of Mile’s recruiting classes were, it was nevertheless a class that actually met our needs in many respects. Meanwhile, most of Miles’ highly ranked classes didn’t meet our needs.

Moreover, O’s recruiting class this year in 2018, considering how down the state is, is another great recruiting class that meets our needs. As O went the JC route to reel in some really excellent offensive and defensive lineman that we need very badly. Unlike Miles, O understands that we always need a steady supply of good offensive and defensive lineman coming in to keep on playing at a high level.

Now next year, the 2019 class in the state is loaded with talent to the gills. Hence, O’s recruiting class should inevitably be off the charts.

In fact, if the LSU/O haters can’t get O fired after next season, then those retards may as well as hang it up. As LSU will be loaded up with talent to the gills subsequently and the SEC and National Championship runs should start happening soon after.

Miles, on the other hand, went after highly ranked wide receivers and defensive backs that we didn’t need to bump up his recruiting rankings and a large percentage of them would inevitably always transfer out.

Miles also always wanted to recruit only offensive guards for the offensive line as opposed to tackles, so we always had guards playing the tackle position that couldn’t stop the speed rushers because they weren’t tackles Hence, for years LSU could only run on most teams except for Alabama, but never could pass. Which also further caused many wide receivers that Miles recruited to inflate his recruiting rankings to transfer out to other schools.

Then recently a lot of the defensive lineman and offensive lineman that Miles recruited also transferred out or were kicked off the team for dicipline reasons.

Meanwhile, Dave Aranda has so much faith in his best friend coach O that he elected to remain at LSU. Indeed, if Aranda had perceived O the captain of a sinking ship, who else would have paid Aranda more money to bail out other than Texas A&M?

However, Aranda decided to stick with his best friends, coach O and Steve Ensminger instead. Hence, coach O now has his two best friends and the two people on his staff that he trusts and respects the most, the defensive and offensive coordinators on his staff. Which can’t be a bad thing.

In addition, Ensminger is going to morph LSU into an RPO offense with 3 to 4 wide outs, which will be very exciting and thrilling to watch after all these many miserable years of watching Les Miles coached football teams. Indeed, many of Miles’ wins felt more like losses rather than wins, as his teams were exceedingly frustrating to watch. Plus, he couldn’t manage a clock for shite.

Furthermore, should Ensminger enjoy outstanding success as the new offensive coordinator at LSU, which I’m pretty hopeful he will, we won’t have to worry about him leaving LSU to go to greener pastures somewhere else. He loves LSU, coach O, and Aranda. Hence, he isn’t going anywhere.

Indeed, like I said, next season is do or die for the LSU/O haters. If those severely mentally deficient morons can’t get rid of O after next season, then those morons better resign themselves to being miserable for a very, very long damn time, which will make me extremely happy and very joyful as I revel in those moron’s misery.

quote:

For the record....I did not love the Orgeron hire, but I was willing to give him a chance. I didnt jump off the bandwagon after Troy, but I had concerns. I was actually fine with the results of the season overall, and the recruiting class. The handling of the Canada situation and then OC "search" was troubling though. If you cant see that things have the potential to get really bad, then you just dont want to. Im an LSU fan and want them to win 30 straight NCs. I dont care who the coach is. I'm never going to pull against LSU because of who the coach is.

Your comments with respect to the Canada firing and the alleged OC search are very troubling to me.

There never was a damn OC search because O and Aranda had already made the decision long ago that Ensminger would be the next OC at LSU after Canada would inevitably be fired for becoming a cancer on the coaching staff.

In fact, Aranda considers Ensminger to be a far better play caller relative to Canada, and he ought to know because he schemed against the both of them every day in practice for the past two years.

Not to mention, that there are a lot of people that believe that it was Steve Ensminger who called the plays in the Texas A&M game, as opposed to Matt Canada, which was LSU’s best offensive outing of the season by far. Indeed, they say that’s what gave O the confidence when asked to mention Steven Ensminger's name as his next OC in the press conference he gave immediately following the A&M game. I believe them.

Oh my. There is so much wrong with that wall of text, that you decided to post twice, that I dont know where to begin.

You are clearly a Orgeron family member/friend, so its understandable that this stuff is hard for you to read (both because it is tough to read that about a family member, and because you probably struggle with reading).

quote:

Only excellent coaching by O and his staff saved our season for us from falling apart

Canada was part of that staff, that you have credit and even called it "excellent coaching." Why is he fired?

quote:

Meanwhile, all the LSU/O haters were predicting before the season that O wouldn’t win more than four games in the season. Then when O lost to Troy State, the LSU/O haters once again reiterated that O wouldn’t win more than 4 games.

I dont know if I ever saw a single person say LSU would win no more than 4 games, before the season. Maybe some people melted down right after the hire, but nobody said this going into the season (well, this is the rant...let me not say nobody). After the Troy loss, it was pretty easy to see a ton more potential loses on the schedule. I think having a losing record this season was a valid concern at that point.

quote:

Okay, O’s first recruiting class last year was one of the best recruiting classes we’ve had in many years because it actually met our needs

All O did last year (with the exception of Chaisson) was hang on to Miles current class. He deserves credit for that.

quote:

O’s recruiting class this year in 2018, considering how down the state is, is another great recruiting class that meets our needs.

I agree

quote:

Miles

With all you comparisons to Les Miles, shouldnt we compare the only thing that REALLY matters, which is the record at the end of the season? You are quick to bash Miles, but you have Orgeron's dick so far down your throat that you cant see he produced the same W/L record that got Miles fired. Why should we accept the same thing that Miles was doing?

quote:

Meanwhile, Dave Aranda has so much faith in his best friend coach O

You start getting totally ridiculous here. First, how do you know they are "best friends?"

Second, if they were such best friends, why would he seriously consider making a lateral move? He held LSU hostage for more money, because he has LSU by the balls. Everybody knows he is the ONLY coach, who has proven consistently, he is good at his job. Thats not something a "best friend" would do.

quote:

There never was a damn OC search because O and Aranda had already made the decision long ago that Ensminger would be the next OC at LSU

Since you know so much, can you tell me why Ensminger wasnt just hired after last season? Surely O had to know he was the best OC in the nation at that point, didnt he?

Then when O won 9 games, it was like O sticking his bird finger in their eyes. It pissed them off even more. Thus, they act like O won only won 3 games as they wished and hoped for, instead of the 9 games he did win, and treat O the same way. Indeed, they are all literally insane.

While very true, your statement is incorrect. If O wins just 1/10th of the natties in your senario, people will be happy. He just needs to develop a qb, win, and recruit

Aren’t you full of piss and vinegar at 6:00 am. I’m neither Einstein nor a retard, just happen to have a differing opinion from you. You love to shout people down when they don’t agree with the Pro-O agenda.

So, if your not saying O will win a natty, what did we promote him for? Wasn’t the idea to improve and compete for titles when we ousted LM?

He has to show an upward trend next season. The schedule is brutal, so I would say and "upward trend" would be finishing with the same record as this season. That will be much much tougher to accomplish next season.

Then he needs to pop eye balls with the recruiting class next season. No excuses.

Then we need to see vast improvement in year 3. From that point on it is 10 wins or bust, with some SEC titles and playoff appearances mixed in.

Do I think it can happen? Probably not. But I really really hope it does.

Les did not get fired for his final year’s record. He was fired because he promised he would revamp the offense and clearly, he didn’t. As soon as he knew he wasn’t getting fired he said he wasn’t changing because it wasn’t broken. Remember his “engine “ comment? All of the folks wanting O’s scalp for “lying “ about the staff he is bringing in clearly forget about Les pulls that little trick on everyone
