Oline improved dramatically

Probably so. Not sure if any other unit is really improved over how they started.

We're obviously better than how we played in late September and early October, but not sure if we've improved anywhere else since the season started.

Still an open question about coach O’s ability to recruit top 5 talent, we”ll have to wait and see.

I don’t think O is as good with the Mama’s as Les was.

I’m not a big O fan but he has the team playing hard and the penalties have been reduced since the beginning of the year. The team has gotten better

I am not SOLD on Canada yet. Aranda is acceptable and I am not worried about our DC. Not pissing on Canada it is just that he hasn't set the world on fire YET. Next year with MB or LN at qb will be the when I will pass final judgement on him.

Yeah I know they don't give a crap what I think. But that doesn't stop me from having my own opinion.

Not sold on Brennan as starter next year, after seeing the success Etling had running in Canada’s offense, Narcisse might be better

ask this seriously - is this team better than the team that blanked BYU 27-0 and dominated Chattanooga?

excellent question. my answer is yes. first, all teams improve during the season as the players get accustomed to playing with each other and the playbook becomes second nature. so BYU and Chattanooga are probably better now also (than in sept). but we also had Guice hurt, E Alexander and Lawrence hurt and Herron suspended. lastly, our O line was a mess and has come a long way. also, remember the early year penalties? they were terrible.

I don't know anything but the team didn't look ready to play early on this year, like they were not conditioned well during the "fall" practices.

but the team has progressed nicely. the only real problems I see are our inability to cover the screen pass and our offense just can't get going until the second half.

A current player, who does not dislke O, said O runs his mouth and it’s white noise to the players. They loved Miles, and they like O.

Personally, I don’t give a shite how much they like him, as long as he wins.

Meh, he had done a great job of keeping the players motivated after an embarrassing loss to Troy.

When Les ran his mouth, players admiited it was entertaining ,because of Les Miles’ odd arrangement of wording, it was comical because Les made absolutely no sense.

Coach O is more all business, he’s going to keep reminding players what he wants. Just two different coaching styles.

LSU appears stronger this year, as well. We've absolutely wrecked SEC depth charts this season.

First time in years we were uo to the task physically against Bama. We just destroyed Ole Miss and tenn.

Probably has a lot to do with being far superior physically, so we wear them down and pull away in the second half.

Slow starts are due to one of O's biggest weaknesses being preparation.

That's a lot of coaches. I was friends with parents of a 4 star recruit under Miles and they said they were constantly lied to and deceived by Les. Other players and families loved him.

The same can be said of recruits and families in regards to Saban.

If Orgeron recruits top 5 talent year after year, and keeps players playing head, then LSU just needs Canada to develop a QB to expand the offense.

Same player said that was only for the media. When addressing the team Les never had that odd phrasing, etc.
