Orgeron just better give control to Brady and not waffle like he and Less have been known to do.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. I suspect this year is an audition for Brady to see if he's ready to move up. Ensminger is not ego driven and my guess is he's trying to assist in a smooth transition.

Ricky is a wing nut, like Damone he'll tell you ad nauseam about the 2016 recruiting class being ranked #2 without ever living up to the fact that there were a number of bombs in that class.

Yep. Recruiting classes are judged 3-4 years down the road.

So I assume we will no longer see any of you O pumpers touting the rank of the 2019 class or the potential rank of the 2020 class.

I think fans being excited about pulling top recruits is perfectly acceptable, but it does take time to see how the class as a whole develops.

I hope so, it's a piece of the offensive puzzle that's been missing since Crowton.
WHEW!!!! Can't believe I finally said that!

Well I haven't jumped on board the hype train, but I'm cautiously optimistic that Brady can be a real difference maker. Honestly until we see real results he's an unknown commodity.

I’m not an O pumper, but if a class performs below its “ranking” I for one won’t brag about it and ignore the on-the-field production, as you 2016 fluffers have.

Man you are "special"

Reading your posts it's almost like you don't care about anything a fan would care about

Why is everyone so hell bent on the predictions of the future good or bad? Can’t we just be excited that we have some great talent coming in plus what we have set up for this season then do our judging after the 2019 season and talk football instead of hurling insults about things nobody can possibly know?

So I trust that you won't be touting the 2019 or 2020 classes until at least 2022-2023.

I'll be touting individual players like any normal fan would do, absolutely. You can keep screaming at the sky though

isn't the argument that Ricky touts the 2016 class still...even though it might not have lived up to the hype?

And Damone. You know it was the #2 class right? That’s all Miles did, just land the #2 class in his last full year.

Comparable to last year, of course we've upgraded.

My point was, us having stellar RB's isn't new. We've had the horses in the stables before and it was still the same ole same ole (in terms of season results)

My point to the original poster is that until Orgeron and this staff actually SHOW this fanbase on the field that they've changed, we have no reason to believe any of the lip service he keeps spewing in the off season.

You mean you have no reason.

It seems other reports plus some of what we saw in spring practice strongly suggest the offense will be different.

This is the man's 3rd year. You don't have a big enough sample to make these statements. This season should tell the tale.
