He doesn’t know anything. That was Joe Brady‘s offense & that 1hr long special on the season proved that with the communication shown between Brady & burrow.

That gif carries so much more weight after last season. It's so much more beautiful

s that a serious question
Would it be different if he made 400k, 500k, 325k, what number would mean the position no longer exists.

what position are you talking about ?
Posted on 7/7/20 at 12:50 pm to Lester Earl
Passing game coordinator....the only coaching position in this thread where a salary was mentioned, by you.
he makes 800k you said. So, what number could we have paid him that makes E smarter?

nothing. E is a figurehead at this point after last season with Brady. Which is why you saw them go and get Linehan and pay him as much as they did.

So the salary doesn’t matter.
Posted on 7/7/20 at 1:44 pm to tigerfoot
Of course it matters, the Brady experiment was so successful, they felt the need to double the salary for the position & hire a 20yr nfl coach lol

So Brady made half as much, so he had half the influence?
Posted on 7/7/20 at 1:47 pm to tigerfoot
Nope, Brady just reinforced the idea that Ensminger aint it. Enough so for Orgeron to double down with Linehan.

So salary doesn't have any indication of value if Brady made half as much.

To be fair, Brady was due a huge salary boost. He just got a bigger offer on a bigger stage (NFL).
I believe SE can evolve as a coach just the way O has done. He is a bit older so I think Brady was and possibly Linehan will be tabbed as future OCs and thus the big salary to get him on board. I know he's only 5 years younger than SE, but I think they see him as a longer term hire and future OC. JMHO

Exactly. His resume’ just didn’t command any more than what he was being paid
But his impact was heavy enough to make him the highest paid assistant in CFB after 1 season
