You got to keep moving forward. You cant live in the past. Cant worry about things you cant control. Go to the game this Saturday and cheer the Tigers louder than ever.

Are you really comparing Ga going into the 4th up by 12 to win by 2 to LSU going into the 4th losing and losing the game???

How far has our expectations sunk that we now seek out positives from a L to a SBC team team.

If Coach O didn't get the LSU job because of Alleva's ineptness what other top 50 head coaching job would he have gotten?

Nah....our bigger line just finally overpowered Troy in the end.
Yea OK, 2017 Troy OL/DL is bigger than LSU's OL/DL.

Troy ran for +200 and whipped an unprepared, soft team that couldn't recover from a soft jab.
In fact a late fumble around the LSU 10yd line kept it from being even more embarrassing.

Nope. Miles has been gone over a year, this is all on Coach o. it's his baby now.

Maybe you're not, but you sure as hell sound like one.

This thread and your post sounds like something Space Cowboy or TigerRee would have posted.

Why do we need a top notch coach? How about just a competent one?

We lost to Troy GET OVER IT! shite happens.

I think this understates it. We lost to Troy in large part because we have SEVERE issues on the OL...and potentially SEVERE issues on the DL if we experience injuries.

That's important because it predicts struggles moving forward. We aren't going to run off 4 or 5 in a row, IMO. If this team gets to 7 wins, the coaching staff probably did a damn good job.

Right. That's why I never made either of these points

Your first post in this thread which is clearly about the OL situation (and QB) is:

quote:

These horrid depth issues only seemed to come to light after we got our shite pushed in by a mediocre to bad State team. Funny how that works.

Clearly you are trying to discount the effect of the OL situation and blaming Orgeron for it.

Orgeron is 100% the reason we are arse. That and Joe Alleva.

Yeah right! We lost three offensive lineman to transfer in the spring because they weren't good enough. We lost one two year starter in the fall because he is a dick with ears too dumb to pass simple classes. Then the three brand new offensive lineman that O brought in instantly zoom ahead of the existing offensive line backups on the depth chart that were all recruited by Les Miles like the other four we lost. Yet let's blame the head coach that hasn't been the head coach for a year yet, while letting off the hook his utterly incompetent predecessor. Yeah right, you're obviously one of Les Miles' gay buddies you retard.

It's pointless to debate that guy once you back him into a corner he's just going to call you stupid and what not

I think you'd agree Ogeron deserves a lot of blame for what's happened this season but anybody who puts the Oline depth and talent issues on him is just looking to attack him. He's had one recruiting cycle and his recruits are holding this line together the upperclass lack of talent is totally on Miles that's just a simple fact and fans who say differnt are either stupid or lying about it. Don't pay attention to these people these same fans who are now pulling for us to lose were crucifing those doing the same thing last year when Miles was a lame duck coach. They're not LSU fans they're either bandwagon fans or Miles worshipers.

... as I've done the entire thread. I never once said the issue doesn't exist. I've only said re: the OL issue that:

-People only started to mention the issue on a widespread basis in the face of an inferior state team whipping our arse; and
-A competent staff could have game planned around the deficiencies to scrounge up a victory over state or Troy

Please stop with the strawmen. Thanks

You're not an LSU fan if you're OK with O being the coach. See how easy that is?

Another one of you guys false narratives, the oline issue has been a major issue going on 3 seasons now. To say people only started taking about it post Troy is a flat out lie.
