Divinity isn't under 21.

If the players knew they were testing those under age 21 for alcohol and they still drank enough to get caught... then they are a bunch of idiots and if they get suspended, so be it.

Is this where you tell us you have never driven 1 mph over the speed limit because that is illegal too?

VolTiger has been the only person on this board who I can say with certainty is absolutely legit.

At this point, there should just be an autoban set to anyone who starts shite or questions Vol. He has more than proved he knows what he is talking about. People need to also understand and accept that Vol will get things wrong from time to time because people lie and things change. That does not equate to Vol not knowing what is going on.

It’s not like he smoked once. You have to fail SEVERAL times before you get suspended.

A rule's a rule, so (if that rumor is true) Divinity is wrong for breaking it. But damn what a stupid rule. Multiple states have completely legalized weed and players are still being suspended and kicked off teams for it. The rule needs to be reevaluated soon.

Alcohol is legal in all 50 states, but you cannot go to most jobs under the influence. You do, you get fired. Rule might be considered "stupid", but if you want their money, or in this case - playing time - then you abide by the rule.

If it’s in house and not ncaa just let it go! Stop testing for weed and focus on winning football games not being a strict parent

If he had robbed someone or something I’d agree.

But it’s a damn medicinal herb. That you don’t even have to test for until it’s time for postseason.

I’m not sure how the testing schedule works but in the NFL all players are tested once a year from April 20th (funny NFL) to last week of training camp after that all “randoms” are for PED use. Most NFL players use weed in some form it’s all about the discipline to know when to stop and then you can do what you want...I’m sire this is what they are trying to teach them their is a time you can do this and there is a time you can’t simple as that...I’m not against smoking weed at all I’m a habitual offender but if I’m on the team and the rule is you can’t smoke from this date to this date then those are the rules and if I wanna play I have to follow them...

NCAA violations

Does anyone know how severe? Seems like it might be worth commiting a minor violation to shore up the defense for aTm/UGA/presumably Oregon.

Let’s just hold ourselves to a standard other teams don’t. Sorry but there should be a uniformed NCAA standard on this stuff. Why do we put ourselves at a competitive disadvantage? I don’t get it.

But does your employer test you for alcohol outside of work? If the guys aren't showing up to practice or games high, and it isn't affecting their performance, it shouldn't matter.

That’s not the stupid part. Remember RJF with the huge FG block against the same school we would most likely play for the natty?

We need everyone we can to chase around Fields and Dobbins. The only stupid part is not forgetting that he smoked weed and just putting him out there starting with A&M
