I think SE has done a serviceable job as OC but his palycaling is bipolar at best, one set of plays are brilliant where another set is WTF. I think CEO has put himself into a box he that he can’t get out of with OC’s three OC’s in three yrs doesn’t look good at all, but keeping an OC that hasn’t scored a single point against Bama as an OC is a huge problem. Basically saying I conceding all future bama games until Saban retires.

Ensminger accepting the OC gig against his will is akin to Nathan Eovaldi throwing 97 pitches for the Bosox in Word Series extra innings..

He took one for the team.

Which is astonishing that he put himself in that position by hiring him. He put his job on the line with SE? Wow. That's why so many people are trying to defend SE. Defending SE is to defend O. And some will NEVER not defend O.

I agree.
Just as tired as any other LSU fan is about having an offense that can t get it done when you got to have em.

9 straight punts is fricking pathetic.

But I think he has to ride SE for a long while before changing OCs again. His credibility, what’s left of it, is at stake.

complete BS

He was given a big contract with a ridiculous buyout, he is safe.

If he wants that second contract, change needs to be made.

My concern prior to the Bama game was with in-game adjustment. I felt like CSE was putting together a decent plan to start the game, but had difficulty without early success and was getting exposed in 3rd 4th quarter when the other teams adjusted and he did not. The offense stalled in second half of games even after early success.
In this last game, it just looked like shite from start to finish.

frick his credibility. It's already gone. We need to win and E isn't the answer.

Look, I agree. I just think he’s gonna dig in on keeping SE now. Just like Miles and Cameron.

With this very odd blindness or arrogance and/or ignorance Les Miles set LSU's offense back ages, and it could be argued destabilized LSU's program as an elite one. If this continues with O, I fear the long term damage to our program. Elite programs act in the best interest of the program, not in the best interest of good ole baws.

Alabama had 3 road shutouts in the past 3 years. Ed O and Steve E were on the hook for 2 of them.

Just a coincidence though.

Yay, more not blaming the coach of the last two and half years.

Depends who returns on defense and how we finish at RB on the recruiting trail.

I absolutely do place fault with O; just pointing out that this particular flaw mirrors Miles'.
