Our fans weren't booing injured players. No matter what pansy arse shite other teams do you don't boo a player that is down. That could easily be career ending for one of those guys and they booed the whole time anyone was down.

Yeah, but at least our fans don't boo opposing players when they're hurt on the ground.

Besides the racist comments (in my experience many northerners are looking for any excuse to twist southerners words to look down on them in this manner) I wouldnt have it any other way. If the opposing fans dont get at least a little taste of this then youre doing it wrong haha

1) No excuse for a popped collar.
2) Racist? How does that come up between fanbases?

Yeeah If we could jus get them black fellers off our team we'd all be happier.
Give me a frickin' break.
That would be assinine. We need them boys out there playing.

Not sure about ya'll, but I didn't go to the game to make friends and drink tea. I went to watch my team light up the backfield and drink bourbon.

Every fanbase has drunk, immature fans.
And every fanbase has butthurt message board jockeys who take out their frustration on any likely target.
I thought the atmosphere was great and I saw lots of duck fans treated very hospitably. I'm sure some of what was posted happened, but most of it didn't.

so calling someone a redneck is not bigoted? Got it!

LSU fans can be obnoxious by west coast standards, but are not the worst in the nation, even the SEC,..by far.

It doesn't. Those kind of stories are most likely highly embellished.

LSU has such a track record of hating black QBs, let me tell you. We've had what 5 since 1990? Howard, Booty, Mauck, Flynn and Lee. We've had Tyler, Davey, Randall, Russell, and Jefferson. That looks like a straight split.

That explains why they were so slow.

I'm sure there are overheard comments, but I'd agree that throwing the "classless" and "racist" tags are the easiest way to turn a loss into an assault on their high moral values by a bunch of meanies like LSU fans.

This.
They heard what they wanted to hear, not what was said. Very similar to what happened when the health care bill was passed.

And their entire fanbase looked like they were sponsored by Affliction. And popped collars? I can't even think of a single incidence of this at an LSU game, no matter how hard the kid is trying to frat.
