With Brandon Taylor returning, and the emergence of Loston and Reid, what are the chances that Sr Karnell Hatcher earns a starting position?

Will he go the way of Jai, and become a complimentary player, or will he earn the starting role for his Sr campaign?

Should he move to LB now, ot is his pass coverage so poor that he cannot make this move even as a Sr?

He will be in the rotation.

I would like to see him at linebacker.

Definitely will not be starting. The bowl game was a good idea f what the coaches thought of him after the disaster that was the Arkansas game.

me too, at nearly 220, I'd rather see him at LB instead of the occasional banter that Loston would move there.

Yeah, going off of the Cotton Bowl plus having Taylor back healthy next year there is no way he starts.

The people that still think Miles loves seniors don't seem to mention Eugene much. I forgot he was still on the teams sometimes this year.

We have too many great safeties and other DBs for him to be playing on a regular basis in my opinion.

He is just sooo terrible in coverage, and is not very smart...we have too much depth to excuse letting him play significant minutes!!

You have to go back to Jamie Howard to find an individual player who had a worse game than Hatcher did against Arkansas.

Erin damond cb from bogalusa had sum horrid individidual games 2!(not as bad as 4 int's n 4th qt) 95 ot thriller vs ms st was 1 of his bad 1's but i'm sure he had worse!

I'd like 2 c hatcher get shot at lb! Hes a big physical safety so if hes not playin at S....y not try him out at lb?

Look, Hatcher has been a solid player for quite some time now. The only reason why he's being crucified is because of the Arky game. I would like to see him at LB but only because we are so stacked at DBs and I think he could contribute at the LB position.

Not true. That was just the most visible time his deficiencies showed more. He has looked lost in pass coverage all along. He really does need to get a look at LB and some close coaching by Chief.

Well maybe so, but I'm not ready to give up on him. He too much of a good athlete. I would try him at LB and see what he do.
