I'll be ecstatic to see us win the West this year. That is no easy feat but with this team he has, there are no excuses to not get this done. He'll lose a lot of players after this season to the NFL.

You mean like the groupthink narratives of the O minions Ree, you, roger, Lester, etc making excuses after O failed to improve on the season records that got Les fired?

you have O tards in this thread claiming that NFL draft picks arent proof that the program had talent.

I've gotta see it.

you claiming a mid major with 1 nfl draft pick since 2012 is more talented than a team with the 2nd most nfl draft picks in cfb.

posting facts isnt being negative. it's called living in reality.

You two are hypocrites jumping on the bandwagon after talking shite all summer before the season

hypocrite in regards to what?
I've said a hundred times that O is a legit oc away from winning titles at lsu. dont blame me because you cant stand objective facts about O's tenure at lsu.

You can crow if we lose but don’t act like you are happy when we are winning.

and there it is...
that train is never late

since we dont think 7 losses in 2 years, having a bad offense both years, and averaging the 5th best class in the sec, is amazing, we are negative.

2017 LSU played the 3rd most snaps by freshmen on any P5 team

You realize the coaches decided to do that. We had experience.

Lets not forget the multiple OL guys that left after O took over.

For what exactly?

Because he’s LSU’s “corch” (that was enough for the Miles honks over the years) and he’s on the very same trajectory that Les was on in his first few years, except Miles had Saban’s elite recruits to help him get the 2-loss National Championship.

Fun Fact: LSU (2007) and Minnesota (1960) are the only two schools who have been crowned national champions whiff two losses.

Fwiw, O would have provided us with a 2-loss season last year if not for the A&M game referee frickery. It wouldn’t have been good enough to back into the playoffs, butt still.

Did LSU have the talent to win those games or not?

no. Way too many drops/missed opps by LSUs receivers.

Holy shite. You have been preaching that the drops are the result of bad coaching. Now you're saying it's because of talent. I don't believe I've ever seen anyone contradict themselves on this board as much as you do.

When games are lost by less than one score, the losing team had the talent to win that game. In the case of the Florida game last year, LSU had every oppurtunity to win that game. It was only a very late Florida score that made it more than a 7 point win if I recall correctly.

25 and 9. Is a very good job. Especially with the run down roster we had.

You keep saying this. Please tell me out of the 9 losses which teams beat us on pure talent alone. I'm excluding all Bama losses and the '17 MSU game because Mullen coached the game of his life that night. That happens sometimes. Other than that, LSU was in every game and could have won those games.

He ran from my question of whether he thought LSU ran max protect against SELA.

Would you consider a 3 WR formation where the TE and RB stay in the formation to block while only the 3 WRs run routes? Or perhaps even the slot receiver can motion down close to the line and stay into block as well.

Then we agree and all this has been a waste of time. At least you will do what Ree and others won’t.

I have found that if you are reasonable with Roger then he will he reasonable with you. Rog and I disagree all the time, but he's one of my favorite posters to engage with because we have very good, civil disagreements, sometimes a bit spirited but that's okay too. He sees things differently than I do and it opens my eyes to different things sometimes and that's what I really here for.

Was Troy mentioned in this thread?

I brought it up to say that Coach O did a great job holding the team together after that and said that I don't think he will ever let that happen again. Then the dumbest poster on the site came back and was trying to accuse me of being negative about the loss.
