Watch Beckham in the video on the front page of TD today. He's catching them at about a 3-second rate - 17 catches in about 45 seconds - pretty normal. (And he's throwing the ball back to the machine each time). 5 or so balls per machine is more than enough.

Ok. Now link to current LSU receivers not doing as much as that or nowhere near as much as a professional receiver.

So you don't know. You're just guessing.
I have a source from this Spring. You say I don't. Prove me wrong. All you connected Ranters must have some connections somewhere in the program . Prove me wrong. Show me the WRs have been each getting 100 reps a day all offseason.

I hope my source is wrong. But seeing LSUs WRs dead last in the SEC in drops. And almost rock-bottom in the entire Power-5... yeah. Unfortunately, I believe him.

Even guessing. Does he realize how ridiculous it sounds to suggest that LSU WRs don't have access to a jugs machine the entire off-season?

No way he believes this. No possible way

I have a source in Columbus that says that Haskins was well ahead of Burrow and that Meyer was making public statements in an attempt to keep Burrow from transferring. Meyer was anticipating that Haskins would leave and he wanted Burrow to start at Ohio St this year. Prove me wrong with something other than a fan vote.

100 reps a day? No way they got that last offseason. And I'm hearing they're not getting the reps this offseason either.

You following around players with binoculars is not a source, Buckeye.

We talked about you doing this.

Do you have a source that says LSU was dead last in the SEC in drops? I do.

And 57th of 65 Power-5 teams in drops?

LSU has elite athletes at WR. But dead last? 57th? No way they're getting their needed reps.

Well we have had 3 WR coaches in 3 years, it's not like your breaking news here. Even the biggest O supporters have agreed that he's dropped the ball on hiring position coaches. The head coach and the OC also have a hand in this.

At least you are not denying that there is a glaring problem.

And probably the absolute easiest to fix. Get the kids their reps.

I also would include Woody in the problem. Facilities are part of his bailiwick. C'mon Woody. Take charge!

Nearly 100% of elite WRs at the college and NFL level are getting a minimum of 100 Jugs reps a day 365. Denying this is silly, Roger.

Why do you think the HC doesn't see the WRs getting enough reps as a priority?

the irony in this post.

you're arguing with people you usually give reach arounds to.

the fact that you think elite wrs use the jugs machines every day of the year just proves your football ignorance

Mega-reps for college WRs is a fairly recent thing. O&E and Moffitt may not have studied the issue yet. And getting 60 or so guys reps every day is a lot of work. And having enough machines is also an issue.

If O doesn't tackle this, then Woody would do the program a HUGE leadership service by doing it.

There are still about 100 days until Alabama. The WRs could still get about 10,000 reps each by the Bama game.

[and with enough machines, and a dedicated area, the WR's could ALL get their reps in 20 minutes to a half-hour max.]
