Open Letter to Coach Ensminger

We know you realize this, but wanted you to specifically hear it.
You are an awesome Tiger. You are greatly appreciated.
The fans never meant to point any resistance to you.
It was about the process, and a broken promise.
It is about a long term unhappiness about not contending for SEC West titles, even though the talent pool we have is good enough to populate the NFL more than any other program.
You, sir are upstanding and dedicated. We know you give your all.
The disdain is at others who have decided to tell us one thing, and to do another.
It is very unfortunate to know the failure of others may seem pointed at you. It isnt.
The chance you had at Bama was poor, but we also know other factors were limiting, so while you were un successful in that game by any objective assessment, our dissapointment was amplified by years of offensive ineptitude.
We know you and the staff will do your best.

P.S. Steve, although you have been on staff for a while, your new position is much higher profile. As such, we as fans will occasionally make light hearted jokes related to your age, such as, ‘Steve recommends prune smoothies for the pregame meal’, or ‘practice was cancelled today because Steve made everyone get off his lawn’.

Well, he is being asked to do this, reportedly, out of loyalty. Doubt he ever gave that a thought. He loves the Tigers. He IS a Tiger.

Well said sir. Although not a Central alum I have known Steve since we got out of high school. In his day he was a great baller and "brawler"! Yep I seen him in action both ways!
While maybe not our first choice he is the choice and we will support him. We may not agree but will support LSU!
