Here’s what i’m saying, open up the offense, you have arguably the best offensive talent in Dupre, Furnette, Dural, Quinn, Harris, and Hillard. Don’t waste it ...

Fair enough. Like I said, wait and see what happens.

exactly, but for some reason he thinks you have to run the spread in order to do that

You should seek a doctor immediately, tell the doctor this verbatim, “doctor, i am an ignorant person, I am unable to learn and discern common sense and logic.”

I know right? It was OVER 30 minutes before two spread offenses combined for a single touchdown. You tell that ignorant a-hole.

They really don't.

quote:

The statistics through the first four games illustrate the shift. Sterling Shepard, Durron Neal and K.J. Young — OU’s three primary receivers have combined for 53 receptions. But the only other wide receiver with a catch is Jordan Smallwood, with two.
Meanwhile, the running backs, tight ends and fullbacks have caught 27 of OU’s completions.

They use their backs a lot and are more committed to running behind their big line.

Only a Neanderthal would not run the Notre Dame Box
Only a Neanderthal would nor run the Single Wing
Only a Neanderthal would not run the T formation
Only a Neanderthal would not run the Wishbone
Only a Neanderthal would not run the Veer
Only a Neanderthal would not run the Run and Shoot
Only a Neanderthal would not run the Pro Set

See how that goes? There is nothing new under the sun. By the time "Everybody" is running something, it's almost always time for the next big thing, which is usually a variation of something that's been seen before.

go find your own team to coach bdnc. run the SPREAD to your heart's desire. might as well wait on building the trophy cabinet. you won't need it

Watching Arizona and Oregon go at it, both teams run the SPREAD, not a hybrid of the spread, but the pure unadulterated SPREAD. The options given in the SPREAD are innumerable. I can only imagine how a player like Harris would do in a SPREAD. But Harris will be under center handling off to a running back with 10 in the box, contrasted against the LSU defense which will have its work cut out for them with the Auburn SPREAD. Think about this, Auburn lead the nation in rushing last year, running the ball 70% of the time? That’s what the SPEAD can give you, Suck on that ... Neanderthal is alive and well in BR.

Heard this on one of the local talk shows last week that LSU leads the nation in plays run with 2 tight ends and I formation at over 80% I think? The second closest team was Pitt. Yeah, Pitt!
