Canada was a pretty good OC.
I think his offense was just too complex for Ed to understand

Yep. The difference this year is we actually have decent talent on both sides of the ball. That defense a couple of years ago was horribly coached, but also was lacking talent.

We had the 76 ranked scoring offense in 2017 and by all accounts he hated Canada.
We weren’t that bad lastbyear.
I wish we had someone better than Sloan, but it’s Like house in 23, there wasn’t a super strong reason to believe it would completely fall apart.

Ed got great hires and got the frick outta the way. He was greater than we knew, because he knew to let others run their shite unencumbered
