Kenny. Hillard.
He didn't get much playing time (if any?) in the first game against 'Bama, and now he's probably getting the most carries over the past three games.

The emergence of Hilliard has been huge

I think you're going to see a heavy dose of Hilliard and plenty of Ford with the option looks

The way KH just straight plows people and Ford hitting that corner never ceases to amaze me

Hilliard and Ford will be the key to our running game.

A lot more has changed.

- TM7 was mentally checked out that game. Maybe still reeling from his suspension

- Minter and the LBs are playing much better. We have the opportunity to seriously limit their run game this time. More so than last time

- Blue and Ford are playing better. We won't waste as many snaps with Ware.

- The crowd won't be all Bama this time around. Every first down they made you could hear the stadium rumble. How we won that game given the hostile conditions still surprises me.

We also probably don't throw 2 costly interceptions in the next game. Lee got flustered and looked completely lost.

I hope Lee plays, but it might be better for him to come off the bench in a game like this.

Kenny Hilliard and the special teams big play. Our offense is very average when it has a full field to drive. The Oregon, Bama, Arkansas, and Georgia games are testiments to that.

We haven't been scared since Saban left. The last game we played scared I thought was Georgia in 2004. But playing on the road in the SEC was never easy. This team makes it look like a piece of cake.

Here is the main reason I like JJ at qb vs Bama. We run the ball more which winds the clock down. We know their offense wont score much of anything against our D so the fewer free chances we give them on O the better for us. Make the game come down to a handful of possessions again and its ours no doubt

I agree... Hilliard is a perfect way to pound Bama's physical Def. Hilliard and Ware pound pound pound, bring in fresh Ford off the edges.

I expect TM7 to show up big time.

Our LB have been playing very physical filling holes and wrapping up.

Our punt return team has looked very good, I know its alot of TM7, but there had to be blocking....

I agree that during the early season Ware got way too many snaps. But would defenses have been as worn down without him just bulldozing the linemen and linebackers the whole time?

I've had a strong feeling that Bama will play dirty, especially if they get down. And you know Kirkpatrick wants revenge on TM7 after he took that flop and hurt himself.
Bama believes they are better. Once it sets in and they realize they aren't, the will get desperate and do whatever they can to win this time. Still doesn't mean they will.
