One Script LSU Needs to Change this Weekend

… Starting slow. Of course, you don’t want to fall behind a great team like Bama — just in terms of the scoreboard.
But of secondary importance is that Tiger Stadium will be rocking and giving us a big edge. But if we fall behind 17-3 to Bama, I’m afraid the crowd is gonna think “Here we go again” — and the noise level is gonna drop 70%.
Well, unless we stage a big comeback, of course.

Pressure that midget QB and we can whip their asses
We need to go into this game knowing we have the dogs to run them off the field.

I'm concerned with over persuit rushing their QB. Teams seem to find a way to get under it. We can't allow that against Bama. They have a better trench than Old Mrs.

Have you watched any of their games? Not quite that simple. The guy slips tackles while keeping his eyes downfield better than anyone I have seen since JB. Pressure plus containment plus sound tackling. All three need to happen.

Pressure by itself won’t be enough.
Bryce Young has faced pressure before and been unfazed by it. He just moves the pocket, keeps his eyes downfield, and plays street ball running around like Johnny-fricking-Football but way better.
When you have the opportunity, you need to get his arse on the ground. THAT is the key. And hope the DBs can cover their assignments long enough for the sack to happen.
