1. LSU will come out prepared, and ready to prove something to the nation. ready to prove how good this team really is and that our record this season doesnt show the skill we truly have. JJ will be pumped and ready to get the win, giving him the edge in the off season for the starting role. our D will want to prove their superiority, playing at what has come to be known as "Defense-U".

2. Our defense will be non existant like it has in many gams this year. The pressure of the game will build and our young guys will get nervous and make crucial mistakes. our older guys dont care anymore and are ready to try to move on to the NFL and in their minds are done with LSU.

im a little scared as to which LSU will show up.

Plus I'm sure the drama of the coaching changes/rumors weighs pretty heavy on these kids' minds.

I went into every game thinking #1 was going to happen but found myself just waiting.

I hope for a change but can't see it coming until the offseason.

I'm sure Mallveto will still play the same D and the results will be the same on the D side of the ball. It's been very strange seeing LSU's D get pushed around so effortlessly this year.

I am hoping to see #1 though.

I will say that it gives JJ a great chance at getting the much needed experience. It's an away game set on a big stage with lots of GT crowd to make noise. He did well against Arky on the road so this should give him a good chance to show what he's got.

Give me some of what you're drinking. I don't see any evidence of that whatsoever.

Don't know how anyone can have confidence in this defense after watching LSU for 12 games

I don't think the game will be close. We will either roll them by 20+ or they'll do the same to us. Honestly, I think we'll be the ones kicking their arse.

I guess we can bump for that or we can look at a couple of things. Peveto and Mallory aren't terrible and did a great job of game planning and the players executed. Second, the offense got things going and never put the defense behind the eight ball, something that was common all season long. Let's say good luck to the two departing defensive coaches. They certainly never were as bad as they were accused as being. Chavis is going to take this group with the added experience gained this season and take them back to one of the top units in the SEC.

Props to the DCs, but also to the players for getting in there and making plays.

And oh yeah, Fear the Chief!

I hereby predict that #1 will happen- oh wait, it DID happen. LSU did come out well-prepared and ready to prove to the nation that we ARE and will continue to be a championship level football program. JJ played like an upper-classman and the defense played very well and kept GT out of the end zone even with the backups in there in the fourth quarter.

Here's to an outstanding 2009 season that might just see the Tigers head back to a BCS bowl!
