Also, would it be unheard of for all the coaches in OSU's conference to vote them all the way up to #1 to try and help boost them ahead of Bama. That would give them 10 first place votes.

There are more coaches voting in SEC than in BIG12, I think BIG12 has only 3 voting.

I have been saying this all week. Bama not playing this week with Stanford, OSU and Va Tech are on Prime Time is going to give reason to enough voters to make this very interesting. Especially if Stanford and Va Tech loses. Not so fast !

Stanford does not play, their season is over with 11-1 record.

I'm glad people are speaking up. All that bias on ESPN is garbage. I believe Bama is the 2nd best team "right now", but with a win over OU I would like to see Okie St. Any team can lose a game any week. Okie St is undefeated in regulation also.. I'm more concerned about wins if I was a voter. I honestly don't care who makes it. I personally would like to see Okie St because we will never know if they are not the second best team without playing the game. If LSU beats them, well hey Bama is second just like we already know with the Oct 5 victory.

why is this thread not getting any love? look at the significance here:

As a Harris poll voter, I’ll say it publicly now. If Oklahoma State defeats Oklahoma this week, I’ll vote them second in my poll.

I think this will be a growing in momentum and could be a title wave by Saturday night if Okie State takes care of business.

My question is where this voter will place Alabama when he votes. Dropping them below #3 to give OSU more of an edge (Much like how Florida got in in 2006) would would drive a retooling to the BCS from the beloved Bama nation.

A coworker of mine is from OK and is a huge Okie State fan.... he assures me they will handle business this weekend.

Don't know how much faith I should put in his football knowledge though

my boss, whose born, bred, and graduated from bama said this morning that Bama should play for the national title because they only lost 1 game to LSU who is and was #1 at the time.....and OSU lost to an unranked team. I wanted to say something, but decided to keep my mouth shut since we have a great relationship

Let me preface this by saying that I could care less who we play in NO.

Everyone trying to make Okie State's case is over thinking this.

If Okie State, Bama, Va Tech, and LSU where all undefeated, we would rank them by their wins and provided Okie State, Va Tech, and LSU win this weekend it would look like this:

1)LSU
2)Okie State
3)Bama
4)Va Tech

I believe Bama is without question the other best team but Thats beside the point, I have no problem with OS if mind u they even win. I would rather play them anyway cause any way u look at it I think its an easier game. Bama has nothing to loose and everything to gain so of course they want a rematch. Words like scared, afraid, are used to promt for something we already have. We owe them nothing, been there done that. Can bama beat lsu, of course, can we beat them, thats already been answered. So for the bcs to work as intended IDE be glad to beat up on OkieS. and bring home the undisputed title. Sorry bama your the the other powerhouse no doubt, and would love to play again, just not for the tital
